Step 1. Lead in.

Greeting &Warming-up

Greeting:

引入:T: Welcome to Beijing zoo. I am going to show you around this zoo. I am your guide. Nice to meet you.

Ss: Nice to meet you, too.

(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:以老師扮演“導(dǎo)游”帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生參觀動(dòng)物園為一條主線,把整節(jié)課的各個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)串聯(lián)起來;自然地引入新課,逐步呈現(xiàn)所學(xué)內(nèi)容。)

Step 2. 看圖學(xué)習(xí)新單詞Learn the new words:

引入:T: The zoo has many kinds of animals . They come from different countries. Before we set off, lets learn the names of the animals.

(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:教師邊帶讀,邊在屏幕上顯示相關(guān)的動(dòng)物圖片;通過這些精美生動(dòng)的動(dòng)物圖片來進(jìn)行單詞、詞組的教學(xué),把單詞和相關(guān)內(nèi)容聯(lián)系,吸引學(xué)生的注意力,加深學(xué)生的印象。)

Next, get them to listen to the tape.

Then, check the answers with the whole class.

First, get the students to read these questions.

Read and complete the table

Next, get the students to read the text in groups and discuss these questions.

Then, get them to ask and answer the questions in pairs.
