【教學(xué)過程】
Step 1. Pre-reading
1. Play a game: I say, you judge.
T: Please say “Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!”, if it is true. Please say“No.No.No.”, if it is false.
T: I teach Chinese.
S: No. No. No.
T: You have a computer in your home.
S: Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
T: You can write emails.
S: Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
2. Lead-in.
T: Look, this is an email. Whom is this email to? Who is this email from? What’s the subject of this email?
S: This email is to Su Hai. It is from Anna. It’s about Anna’s family’s plan for the Chinese New Year.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:愛玩是小學(xué)生的天性,采用游戲方式導(dǎo)入新課,有助于激勵(lì)學(xué)生以最佳的狀態(tài)進(jìn)入學(xué)習(xí)。在游戲中巧妙引出“email”,隨后引導(dǎo)學(xué)生觀察email的格式,迅速抓住關(guān)鍵信息,為進(jìn)一步理解課文做好鋪墊。
3. Know about Chinese New Year.
T: Today, we’ll talk about Chinese New Year. Look at the calendar. Can you find Chinese New Year’s Day?
(呈現(xiàn)日歷幫學(xué)生厘清三個(gè)時(shí)間段:除夕、大年初一、大年初二。)
T: What do people usually do at Chinese New Year? Let’s enjoy some pictures about Chinese New Year.(呈現(xiàn)圖片,讓學(xué)生回答與春節(jié)有關(guān)的活動(dòng)。)
S: Clean the house, buy new clothes, eat dumplings....
4. Guessing game: 根據(jù)所給的英文關(guān)鍵詞猜與春節(jié)相關(guān)的英文表達(dá)。
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:新課標(biāo)指出,英語教學(xué)活動(dòng)的內(nèi)容和形式要貼近學(xué)生的生活實(shí)際,符合學(xué)生的認(rèn)知水平和生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)。在圖片提示下,學(xué)生聯(lián)系已有的生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)描述春節(jié)日期與春節(jié)活動(dòng)。在喚醒春節(jié)的有關(guān)記憶之后,再以學(xué)生喜聞樂見的猜謎形式,讓他們根據(jù)相關(guān)英文表達(dá)猜單詞或詞組,并學(xué)習(xí)與春節(jié)活動(dòng)相關(guān)的三個(gè)短語,為下一步語篇學(xué)習(xí)奠定基礎(chǔ)。
Step 2. While-reading
1. Watch and tick.
T: What are Anna and her family going to do at Chinese New Year? Please watch the cartoon and tick the pictures.
2. Read the picture book.
T: Read the picture book Page 2-3, underline the key words about the activities.

(引導(dǎo)生總結(jié)學(xué)習(xí)、閱讀段落的方法:讀——圈畫——說)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)故事的第一部分,了解春節(jié)前夕人們的活動(dòng),并進(jìn)行學(xué)習(xí)方法的總結(jié)與指導(dǎo),為后面學(xué)生小組合作學(xué)習(xí)其他段落做好示范。授之以魚不如授之以漁,適時(shí)的學(xué)法指導(dǎo)讓學(xué)生習(xí)得一種方法,形成一種能力,為未來學(xué)習(xí)作好儲(chǔ)備。
3. Complete the picture book.
T: What are they going to do on other days? Read the short passages carefully. Then place them under the right pictures in the picture book.
(制作繪本:同桌合作,通過看圖、閱讀文字,理解課文內(nèi)容,并將文字貼在合適的位置,使圖文匹配,使繪本完整。)

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:將傳統(tǒng)的語篇學(xué)習(xí)模式改成“Make picture books” 的任務(wù)型活動(dòng),能夠激發(fā)學(xué)生的閱讀興趣,促進(jìn)其合作意識(shí),培養(yǎng)其自主學(xué)習(xí)能力。引導(dǎo)學(xué)生運(yùn)用學(xué)習(xí)第一段落時(shí)總結(jié)的學(xué)習(xí)方法“讀——圈畫——說”,進(jìn)行自主實(shí)踐,體驗(yàn)學(xué)有所得的成就感。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:根據(jù)學(xué)生的生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)和已有的知識(shí)背景,將自己的新年活動(dòng)與Anna在香港過新年的活動(dòng)進(jìn)行比較,了解不同地區(qū)的文化差異。在自然、真實(shí)的交流中完成理解語言、運(yùn)用語言的整體目標(biāo)。同時(shí)引導(dǎo)落實(shí)本課的情感目標(biāo),加深對中國傳統(tǒng)文化的理解,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生熱愛傳統(tǒng)文化,并懂得保護(hù)、傳承中國傳統(tǒng)文化。接著,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生談?wù)撟约航衲甑拇汗?jié)計(jì)劃,以教材為語用平臺(tái),使學(xué)生將英語學(xué)習(xí)與自己的生活相聯(lián)系,關(guān)聯(lián)前后知識(shí),形成學(xué)以致用的好習(xí)慣,努力實(shí)現(xiàn)“用英語”的美好愿景,讓英語學(xué)習(xí)從知識(shí)的拓展向課堂學(xué)習(xí)的生活化發(fā)生轉(zhuǎn)變。
