一、實(shí)驗(yàn)介紹

本學(xué)校本學(xué)期高一年級(jí)開(kāi)始使用進(jìn)口教材《Solutions Intermediate》為了實(shí)驗(yàn)學(xué)生是否能拿下里面眾多的生詞，特此設(shè)計(jì)了本教案，并將兩個(gè)班級(jí)進(jìn)行對(duì)比分析。

實(shí)驗(yàn)內(nèi)容為《Solutions Intermediate》Unit 1A Vocabulary and Listening

實(shí)驗(yàn)對(duì)象為高一年級(jí)兩個(gè)相同人數(shù)的班，實(shí)驗(yàn)班和對(duì)照班。

二、實(shí)驗(yàn)和課程設(shè)計(jì)及反饋

Pre-class task：

Students are required to use casino to self-study exercise 1 and 2. Find out the meaning for those new words both in Chinese and English.

注：這個(gè)部分在對(duì)照班沒(méi)有布置，僅實(shí)驗(yàn)班學(xué)生做，他們運(yùn)用卡西歐辭典查出單詞并放入卡西歐學(xué)習(xí)簿的單詞本中，方便上課隨時(shí)調(diào)用。

Teaching design

Step one：（warm-up questions）

1. What kind of clothes do you like wearing？

2. What do you wear when you are taking part in the flag-raising ceremony every Monday morning？Do you like it？

3. Work in pairs，and describe the worst dressed person you once saw. Be sure to use your newly learned words as much as possible.

Step two：（Exercise 1&2）

Look at the pictures，these are Hollywoods worst-dressed celebrities，can you use the adjectives in exercise 1 and 2 to describe them？

注：在描述前，實(shí)驗(yàn)班僅用英文解釋來(lái)檢查他們對(duì)生詞的掌握，卡西歐的學(xué)習(xí)簿也可以隨時(shí)查用，對(duì)照班教師課堂上直接口頭給出生詞解釋。

對(duì)照班完成任務(wù)明顯耗時(shí)較實(shí)驗(yàn)班長(zhǎng)。

Step three：（Exercise 3&4）

1. Listen to the radio show. Which two celebrities in the photos are described？

注：由于對(duì)第一題第二題單詞熟悉程度不一樣，實(shí)驗(yàn)班的學(xué)生由于單詞定位速度更快地找到四個(gè)人中的兩個(gè)人。

2. Take down notes about those descriptive words or phrases.

3. Use your note to finish Exercise 4.

注：本部分兩個(gè)班在用時(shí)和準(zhǔn)確率上無(wú)差異。

Step four：（Exercise 5）

Use your notes and Exercise 4 to figure out the rules of using adjectives before noun.

Opinion-size，length，or shape-texture-pattern or color-material

Step five：（in-class learning output）

Speaking：work in pairs and describe the most beautifully dressed person you once saw. Be sure to use your newly learned words as much as possible.

三、詞匯習(xí)得檢查

詞匯習(xí)得檢查結(jié)果如下：

四、實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果分析

實(shí)驗(yàn)班雖然和對(duì)照班在詞匯習(xí)得檢測(cè)的差距不算很大， 稍稍好一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)（P<0.04），但是在課堂詞語(yǔ)運(yùn)用表現(xiàn)上明顯好過(guò)對(duì)照班，課前運(yùn)用卡西歐學(xué)習(xí)單詞，對(duì)課堂詞匯識(shí)記效率有明顯的幫助。所以總體看來(lái)，課前運(yùn)用電子詞典對(duì)英語(yǔ)課堂教學(xué)是有好處的。
