Each different part of China has its own special forms of traditional art. These art forms usually try to show the important things in life, such as love, beauty and family. The most common things like paper, clay and bamboo are turned into objects of beauty.
According to Chinese history, sky lanterns were first used by Zhuge Kongming. He released them into the sky to ask for help when in trouble. Today, sky lanterns are used in festivals and celebrations. They are made of bamboo and covered with paper. They are seen as bright symbols of happiness and good wishes.
Paper cutting has been around for over 1,500 years. The paper, usually red, is folded before it is cut with scissors. The most common pictures are flowers, animals, and things about Chinese history. During the Spring Festival, they are put on windows, doors and walls as symbols of wishes for good luck and a happy new year.
Chinese clay (黏土) art is famous for the clay pieces are so small but they look very real. These pieces are usually about cute children or lively characters from Chinese fairy tales and historical stories. They are carefully shaped by hand from a very special kind of clay and then allowed to air-dry. After drying, they are fired at very high temperatures. They are then polished and painted. These small pieces of clay art show the love that all Chinese people have for life and beauty.

I didnt like singing when I was young. Because I didnt think I could sing well. Things changed a lot when I was ten. At the birthday party of my grandparents, most of my relatives praised me for singing. They encouraged me to sing in public.
I love singing so much that I have decided to take up singing as my lifelong career. I will work hard no matter how many difficulties that come my way.
Since then, I have been crazy about singing. I won many singing competitions. I enjoy myself in the world of music every time I sing.

Hello, everyone. Im Li Hua. Today, I would like to share with you my favorite art form. I like singing best.
To be honest, I didnt like singing until I was 10 years old because I didnt think I could sing well. However, things changed a lot later. At the birthday party of my grandparents, most of my relatives praised me for singing. They think I have a real gift for singing and encouraged me to sing in public.
But thats not the only reason why I like singing. I took part in a school singing show once, and my performance was really successful. The audience couldnt help but applaud when they heard me sing.
Since then, I have been crazy about singing. I have even won many singing competitions. I enjoy myself in the world of music every time I sing.
Thanks for listening.
