Means, way, method, manner均有“方式,方法”之意,其介詞搭配為:by ... means , in ... way/manner, with ... method。

【辨析】
happen與occur均可表示“發(fā)生”,但occur比happen更正式;take place沒(méi)有偶然發(fā)生之意,它表示有組織、有計(jì)劃地發(fā)生。如:
The December Ninth Movement took place in 1936.
一二·九運(yùn)動(dòng)在1936年發(fā)生了。
