龍泉棗園夼以前有二十多個自然村落，現(xiàn)在合并規(guī)整為十個村莊。

棗園夼之美在于她的青山霧靄，在于她的風(fēng)光迤邐。這里的四月，就是人間最美的時節(jié)。藍天白云，花濃香濃情更濃，濃得人不忍離開，濃得人即刻懂了桃花源記里的世外桃源，濃得人無以言表，又懂了只可意會不可言傳的意義。

相傳棗園夼曾是天庭玉皇王母的棗園，這里到處都是大紅棗兒，蜜棗釀制的美酒源源不斷地送往天庭。

一日，玉皇大帝派大將軍到棗園來巡查，將軍騎著玉麒麟來到棗園，被棗園美景所迷，他先去龍泉湯洗浴，接著觀賞棗園的山山水水，一草一木，一花一蕊。他看一會兒彩蝶飛舞，真美！瞧一會兒蜜蜂采蜜，有趣！不知不覺已日落西山，棗園的土地山神請他喝酒食肉，將軍沉醉在富貴鄉(xiāng)里，忘記了歸期。

天庭上，玉皇大帝點卯，大將軍未到，玉皇勃然大怒，他命令喜鵲下到人間通報大將軍，謫貶他為天庭守護棗園。就這樣大將軍變成了人間的園丁。

將軍樂得其所，他在這里帶領(lǐng)民眾種花種草，綠化山林，棗園不再是單一的棗樹，這里廣種了蘋果樹，梨樹，桃樹，杏樹，李子樹，櫻桃樹等應(yīng)有盡有，供給天庭的除了棗酒還有桃花酒，梨花酒，櫻桃酒和各種甜蜜果品，玉皇王母飲過美酒食過蜜果之后贊不絕口。他們帶著七仙女下到凡間來，在昆崳山、無染寺都留下了足跡。

看過棗園美景之后，玉皇王母甚是歡喜，調(diào)大將軍重回天庭重用。大將軍舍不得離開棗園，棗園的土地山神及民眾也舍不得離開大將軍。聽說大將軍要離開后，跪倒一片，他們懇請留下大將軍，玉皇被民所感動，于是把大將軍化作棗園南山上大將軍石，大將軍騎的麒麟化為麒麟石，報信的喜鵲化為喜鵲石。萬年的神龜也一直在祈求玉皇大帝留下大將軍，玉皇便在大將軍石的不遠處立了一尊佛，神龜化為神龜石，這便是我們現(xiàn)在所看到的神龜拜佛，大將軍石，麒麟石和喜鵲石。將軍石山下，有一處天然水池，人們傳說這是將軍的飲馬池，飲馬池里碧水清清，綠影倒映，鳥兒飛，魚兒游，又是一幅美麗的山水畫卷。

大將軍就這樣永遠站在山上守護著棗園，棗園歷盡歲月的年輪，日復(fù)一日，年復(fù)一年，在大將軍的守護下，越變越美好，越變越漂亮！

在棗園鄒家莊的青河旁，有兩棵情人槐（懷）樹，樹干彼此分開，樹枝樹葉，纏纏綿綿，難分難開。相傳東漢末年，夫君奉命出征，妻子在家苦苦守候，待到夫君凱旋，妻子早已香消玉殞，夫君哭妻之淚化成了青河，夫婦化為相依相偎的情侶槐樹，生生世世永不分開。

在棗園的孔莊，夾道而棲著的杏（幸）樹，相傳秦始皇東巡時，被這里的美景所迷，亦被當?shù)氐囊晃恢ヌm姑娘所癡迷，命人在路兩旁栽上杏樹，喻示著幸福美好。此后，這里的杏樹枝繁葉茂，紅杏點點繞枝頭。杏花盛開之時，人們來到杏樹下，在杏樹枝上掛上自己的祈福牌，祈禱自己和家人幸福，這些杏樹被人們寓意為幸福樹了。

如今的棗園，山美水美人更美，這里的民眾勤勞樸實，辛勤耕耘，努力創(chuàng)建著自己的美好家園。一個個傳說只能傳說著棗園神奇的過往，美好生活要靠自己的雙手去創(chuàng)造，棗園人要讓自己的棗園變得更神奇，更迷人。

Zaoyuankuang in Longquan had over twenty natural villages， which have merged into ten.

The beauty of Zaoyuankuang lies in its graceful scenery reflected in its green mountains and misty fog. April here is the most beautiful season in the earthly world. Under the azure sky and white clouds flowers are strongly fragrant and emotions are stronger， so strong that people are reluctant to leave because of their immediate understanding of the land of peach blossoms recorded in The Chronicle of the Land of Peach Blossoms and unable to express in words with understanding of the meaning of what can be only sensed but not explained in words.

Allegedly， Zaoyuankuang was the jujube orchard of the Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother. Big red jujubes were seen here and there and the wine made of them were sent to the heaven incessantly.

One day， the Jade Emperor sent his general to inspect the jujube orchard. The general rode his jade kylin and came to the jujube orchard. Enchanted by its beautiful scenery， he went to Longquan Spring to take a bath and then admired the mountain and water of the orchard， fixing his attention on each tree and flower. He watched butterflies dance for a while and found it very beautiful. And then he watched bees gather honey and thought it interesting. When the sun set before he noticed it， the god of the land and mountain in the jujube orchard invited him to have wine and meat. The general was so intoxicated in the land of prosperity that he forgot to leave.
