It was 9 o’clock on a Saturday morning.Ole and Lena were sitting down to their usual morning cup of coffee listening to the weather report on the radio.

周六早上9點(diǎn)，奧立和莉娜正要坐下來喝他們通常的“早茶”——咖啡時(shí)，聽到了收音機(jī)里的天氣預(yù)報(bào)。

“There will be 3 to 5 inches of snow today, and a snow emergency has been declared.” the weather report said.“You must park your cars on the odd numbered side of the streets.”

“今天將有3到5英寸的降雪，還發(fā)布了大雪緊急令?！碧鞖忸A(yù)報(bào)說，“你們必須把車停在街道的奇數(shù)一側(cè)。”

Ole said, “Jeez,okay,” and got up from his coffee.

奧立說道：“天哪，好吧?！比缓蠓畔驴Х龋玖似饋?。

The next day, they were sitting down with their morning cups of coffee.The weather forecast was, “There will be 2 to 4 inches of snow today, and a snow emergency has been declared.You must park your cars on the even numbered side of the streets.”

第二天，他們正要坐下來喝“早茶”——咖啡時(shí)，天氣預(yù)報(bào)說：“今天將有2至4英寸的降雪，還發(fā)布了大雪緊急令。你們必須把車停在街道的偶數(shù)

Again, Ole said, “Jeez, okay,” and got up from his coffee.

奧立再次說道：“哎呀，好吧?！比缓蠓畔驴Х?，站了起來。

Two days later, again they were sitting down with their cups of coffee and the weather forecast said, “There will be 6 to 8 inches of snow today, and a snow emergency has been declared.You must park your cars on the…” and the power went out and Ole didn’t get the rest of the instructions.

兩天后，他們又是正要坐下來喝咖啡時(shí)，天氣預(yù)報(bào)說：“今天將有6到8英寸的降雪，還發(fā)布了暴雪緊急令。你們必須把車停在……”這時(shí)，停電了，奧立沒有得到通告后面的內(nèi)容。

He turned to Lena, “Jeez, what am I going to do now, Lena?Where must I park my car?”

他轉(zhuǎn)向朝莉娜說道：“哎呀，我現(xiàn)在該怎么辦，莉娜？我的車該停在哪里呢？”

Lena replied, “Aw, Ole, just leave the car in the garage today.”

莉娜回答道：“噢，奧立，你今天就把你的車停在車庫里吧?！?/p>
