Ⅲ.? 1. To stop the exploitation of freelance workers. Some contractors.
2. It has detailed standards to determine the identities of the employees or the contractors for workers.
3. Firstly, the US increasingly relies on a freelance workforce, through which businesses are able to reduce much cost instead of employ?鄄ing employees. Secondly, both states and federal governments have already had law to classify a worker into an employee or a contractor.
4. It has a more intense degree of organizing among workers, especially those in the gig economy.
5. Because they think that the new law is merely strengthening or spelling out rules previously established by labor officials or the courts. They can prevent employers from avoiding paying payroll taxes and guaranteeing workers a minimum wage, compensation and other protections.
6. Firstly, independent workers may be more vulnerable than employees, not entitled to certain wages, insurance and other benefits. Secondly, many freelancers are afraid of losing the flexibility of not being tied to a single employer while some businesses are built around a network of free?鄄standing subcontractors.
7. On the one hand, actually some freelance work is disappearing. On the other hand, people who were earning an income might have their income reduced or eliminated completely.
Step 3 運(yùn)用·讀寫整合
It?蒺s nice of you to put forward the question as to my attitude towards the new law. Firstly, it?蒺s necessary that they enact the law to protect our basic benefits in the gig economy because as? employees, freelancers are a weak side in the labor market. However, it remains to be seen whether the law will eventually work and benefit us instead of harming us. As you know, some employers may employ regular workers instead of employing us freelancers, with whom they can develop a steady relationship and determine the rights and duties because it is difficult for the law to actually supervise the labor market of freelancers. Consequently, some freelancers who rely on gig work might have their income reduced. Even worse is that some of us might be out of work.
To truly protect our benefits, all sides should make joint efforts. The government should improve the laws and regulations, eliminate the legal ambiguity zone, which is the key to the protection of the labor rights and interests of the freelancers. They should funda?鄄mentally make the legal relationship between the freelancers and the Internet platforms clear, and clarify the rights, responsibilities and obligations of both sides. As for the employers, they should strictly abide by the law and relate to us freelancers. And as for ourselves, we should improve ourselves to create and seize more opportunities in the fierce labor market. Above all, we should have a good command of the law to fully take advantage of it for our own rights.

Paragraph 2: Kimbro transferred Ryleigh to an emergency medical technician. He peeked into the windows of the ambulance until it pulled away. At the hospital, Ryleigh recovered quickly, and she was back to her usual active self in no time—thanks to a determined school resource officer who was in the right place at the right time.
