Zhou Ping was born in Chengdu City， Sichuan Province in 1959 and graduated from the School of Chinese Painting of China Central Academy of Fine Arts. Then he took advanced study in the senior class of traditional Chinese painting. Now he is the Vice-Chair of Literature Federation of Xindu District， Sichuan， a member of China Artists Association， the Director of Sichuan Artists Association， a researcher of Sichuan Poetry Calligraphy Painting Academy， etc. He has participated in various exhibitions and won grand prizes. Many of his artworks have been published in famous journals. Also， Sichuan television made special reports for his story.

周平，1959年生于四川成都，1991至1992年就讀于中央美術(shù)學(xué)院國畫系，2000年在全國首屆中國畫高研班學(xué)習(xí)?，F(xiàn)任四川新都區(qū)文聯(lián)副主席、新都畫院院長，中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會會員，四川省美術(shù)家協(xié)會理事，四川省詩書畫院研究員，四川美協(xié)中國畫藝委會委員兼中國人物畫秘書長。

2001年11月，作品《圓了的夢》和2004年11月作品《陽光下成長》、《明天的太陽》榮獲文化部、中國文聯(lián)等七部委主辦的展覽銅獎。2014年中央電視臺財經(jīng)頻道為其拍攝個人藝術(shù)專題片。

近年來作品多次參加中國美協(xié)舉辦的展覽，2010年榮獲四川省第六屆巴蜀文藝獎；2011年被四川省委宣傳部、文聯(lián)、美協(xié)評為巴蜀畫派有影響力的畫家；2012年在美國舊金山舉辦名家作品展；2013年全國“兩會”期間在北京舉辦“巴蜀中華七人著名書畫家作品展”。

四川電視臺多次為其拍攝個人藝術(shù)專題片。曾在成都、北京舉辦個人畫展，作品13次參加中國美協(xié)主辦的展覽。多幅作品在《榮寶齋》、《中國美術(shù)》等200多種刊物發(fā)表。
