1.2 外景/Exterior views
新建筑館的體量為舊館內(nèi)院的三邊所限定。為了模糊表面之間的距離以消解位處夾縫中的壓迫感,立面鋪滿傾斜的穿孔鋼板。建筑下沉地面半層,底層架空并采用玻璃立面,東西兩面向內(nèi)退2m,以進一步獲得輕盈感,減少對地面的壓迫。立面劃分為九宮格,并進一步由鋼板均質劃分,與無序的室外環(huán)境對比、相襯。新建筑不對舊立面做形態(tài)上的呼應,而是視新的立面為一層輕盈的紗網(wǎng)。從室內(nèi)看,舊建筑立面經(jīng)過穿孔鋼板的過濾而變得均質,新舊的沖突被弱化。內(nèi)部空間延續(xù)立面邏輯,九宮格的正中設中廳,促進通風并改善室內(nèi)光環(huán)境。
The new building volume is framed on three sides by the existing courtyard. To dissolve the sense of constriction of the space and obfuscate distance, its fa?ades are covered with punched steel plates. To further increase the apparent lightness of the building and veil its pressure on the ground, this stilt building is sunken a half-foor below grade and the lowered floor enclosed with glass recessed two meters at the east and west. The building's fa?ades are evenly divided into 3×3 grids and further divided by panels. This homogeneity contrasts with the chaotic existing environment. The new building does not respond formally to the old fa?ades. Instead, the new facades create a gauze-like filter between the two. From the inside, the old fa?ades become blurred and the confict between new and old is weakened. The building’s interior space conforms to the logic of the fa?ade. The atrium at the center of the cube facilitates ventilation and improves lighting.
