在現(xiàn)實(shí)生活中,有不少同學(xué)對 “沒關(guān)系”、“不用謝” 和“對不起”這些日常交際英語混淆不清,下面我們來說說這些交際英語吧。
1. “excuse me”表示“打擾他人或妨礙別人的正?;顒印保弧安煌饣虿毁澇伞?;“事先對自己的行為不禮貌表示道歉”;“請求允許”;“不耐煩或不愿幫忙”。意為:“對不起,”“勞駕”等。而“Im sorry.”則表示說錯話或做錯事等時,請求原諒之意。例如:
Excuse me, sir, could you tell me how I can get to the nearest bank?(勞駕,你能告訴我去銀行最近的路怎么走嗎?)
Excuse me, sir, but you cant smoke here.(先生,對不起,你不能在這兒吸煙。)
—Im sorry, Im late. (對不起,我來晚了。)
—Thats all right /Never mind / It doesnt matter / Its nothing.(沒關(guān)系。)
2. “Not at all.”,“Thats all right.”,
“Youre welcome.”都表示“不用謝”,但是“Not at all.”還表示“不客氣 /沒什么;沒關(guān)系;一點(diǎn)也不;完全不”。例如:
—Thank you very much. (感謝不盡?。?/p>
—Not at all. / Youre welcome. / Thats all right. / My pleasure.(不用謝!”)
—Is it difficult to study English?(學(xué)英語很難么?)
—Not at all.(一點(diǎn)也不。)
—Will / Could / Would you please help me with my English this evening?(你今晚能幫我學(xué)英語嗎?)
—With pleasure / Id love / like to / No problem / Sure / OK / Of course / Certainly. (很樂意。)
3.“It doesnt matter.”,“Not at all.”,“Never mind.”,“Thats all right.”,“Its nothing.”還表示“沒關(guān)系”。例如:
—Im sorry to give you so much trouble.
(很抱歉給你帶來了這么多麻煩。)
—It doesnt matter / Thats all right / Not at all / Never mind / Its nothing.(沒關(guān)系。)
4. “Thats right.”表示同意對方的觀點(diǎn)或看法,意為:“對,正確”。“All right.”表示同意對方的意見,意為:“行,好吧”。例如:
—Shall we go sightseeing in countryside next weekend? (下周末我們一起去鄉(xiāng)下觀光好嗎?)
—OK / Sure / Certainly / Of course /Thats right / Youre right.(好吧!)
—Lets discuss how to write in English after school.(咱們放學(xué)后一起討論怎樣用英語寫作吧。)
—All right / OK / Sure / Of course /Certainly.(好吧!)
