注意事項(xiàng):
1. 重組材料,確定要點(diǎn)。寫作前要進(jìn)行立意、構(gòu)思和選材,對(duì)提供的材料再加工,確定寫作的順序、要點(diǎn)和重點(diǎn),擬定使用的詞組和句型。
2. 結(jié)構(gòu)完整,前后呼應(yīng)。主題和內(nèi)容一致,結(jié)尾與開(kāi)頭呼應(yīng)。

1,009 Rejections
Once there was an old man, who was broke, living in a tiny house and owned a beat-up car. Hewas living off $105 Social Security checks. At 65, he decided that things had to change. So hethought about what he had to offer. His friends talked about his chicken recipe. He decided that thiswas his best shot at making a change.
He left Kentucky and traveled to different states to try to sell his recipe. He offered the recipeto them for free, just asking for a small percentage for the items sold. Sounds like a good deal,right? Unfortunately, not to most of the restaurants.
He heard “NO” over 1,000 times. Even after all of those rejections, he didn’t give up. Hebelieved his chicken recipe was something special. He got rejected 1,009 times before he heard hisfirst “YES”.
With that one success, Colonel Harland Sanders changed the way Americans eat chicken.Kentucky Fried Chicken, popularly known as KFC, was born.

The story tells us how the founder of KFC made his chicken recipe accepted. At 65, Colonelwas not content with relying on the Social Security checks to live his life. Motivated by his friends,he decided to sell his chicken recipe. He was rejected constantly, but he didn’t throw in the towel.Instead, he kept trying. Finally, his efforts paid off.
It was his never-give-up spirit that made KFC popular around the world. Likewise, in life, nomatter how terrible the situation is, we shouldn’t give up hope easily. As teenage students, in theprocess of growth, we will meet with some challenges. So long as we face them bravely and takemeasures to improve ourselves, we will surely succeed in solving them and become the person whowe wish to be. Never give up and always believe in yourself in spite of difficulties and challenges.

The Donkey(驢)
One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried for hours as the farmer triedto figure out what to do. Finally he thought the animal was old, and the well needed to be coveredup anyway; it just wasn’t worth it to get back the donkey.
He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all began to shovel (鏟起) dirtinto the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, toeveryone’s amazement, he quieted down. A few shovels of dirt later, the farmer finally looked downthe well, and was astonished at what he saw. With every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkeywould shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer’s neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it offand take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of thewell and ran away!
