注意：在have ...influence on這個短語中，influence之前還可以有great， large， big，no， little， small等形容詞修飾。如，Parents’ behaviours have great influence on their children， because kids often model after them. 父母的行為對孩子有很大的影響，因為孩子經常模仿父母。

The group has little influence on those outside its own ranks. 這個團體對非成員沒什么影響力。

② under the influence of 在…… 的 影響下。如，He begins writing under the influence of his friend， Robert Frost. 他在朋友羅伯特·弗羅斯特的影響下開始寫作。

③be a bad / good influence on sb. 對某人是個壞的 / 好的影響。如，He is a good influence on my daughter. 他對我女兒有很好的影響。

v.影響；支配

influence sb. to do影響某人做某事。influence后面直接跟的是不定式，表示對某人的行為產生影響。如，The advertisement influenced me to buy this product.這個廣告影響了我，讓我買了這個產品。
