2It is in Upper Paleolithic Europe, 20,000 years ago. During an expedition to hunt for the coming winter's food with his tribe, a bison rushes Keda and throws him over the edge of a rough cliff. Keda loses hold, appears to break his leg and is knocked to unconsciousness. He survives and returns to the top of the cliff. Seeing the memorial cairn（堆石標(biāo)）, he realizes that he has been deserted by his tribe and must return to the village alone.

3On the way back, Keda is attacked by a pack of wolves, but escapes up a tree,wounding one of them whom the others leave behind. Keda takes pity on it and takes care of it.Later,he sets out for the village without the wolf,but it follows him.As their companionship grows,Keda names the wolf Alpha along the way.

4One night, they are attacked by a pack of wolves. The wolves hesitate upon seeing Alpha.The pack runs off and with Keda's blessing,Alpha joins them.

5Keda continues his journey alone as the season changes to winter. On a frozen lake,he encounters a pack of wolves feeding. Recognizing Alpha, he runs to them, but the ice breaks and he falls through.Luckily,Alpha rescues him and they are reunited.

6Continuing the journey together, they face many challenges. In a fight against Machairodus, Alpha is badly injured and now travels with difficulty. Meanwhile, Keda begins to cough up blood.When Alpha finally cannot walk,Keda carries the wolf.

7Keda eventually finds the village and reunites with his parents.As the village healer tends to Alpha's wounds,the wolf delivers a litter of pups.Alpha and her pups are formally welcomed into the tribe and the pups grow up in the care of Alpha and Keda. In time, the tribe becomes one of both humans and tamed wolves,hunting together.

8Alphais a beautiful story about supernatural friendship. The message of this film is that we should bond with nature,follow our own instincts and preserve our inborn quality of being friendly.
