Think of how stingy①stingy 英 ['st?n(d)??] 美 ['st?nd?i]adj. 吝嗇的，小氣的；有刺的；缺乏的you are with your money: if someone on the street asks for $10, you're not giving it to them. There's no way you're giving a 30% tip for a normal dining experience. And so on.

And yet so many of us just waste ungodly②ungodly 英 [?n'g?dl?] 美 [?n'gɑdli]adj. 邪惡的；不敬畏神的；荒唐的amounts of our time. We throw it away③throw away 扔掉，丟棄,every day. I know I do unless I'm careful.
