今年是“五四”新文化運(yùn)動100周年。百年前，一代先驅(qū)以文學(xué)革命為先導(dǎo)，反對文言文，提倡白話文；反對貴族文學(xué)、古典文學(xué)等舊文學(xué)，提倡國民文學(xué)、社會文學(xué)等新文學(xué)，創(chuàng)建了“人的文學(xué)”和“平民文學(xué)”，從而激發(fā)了中國文學(xué)藝術(shù)在20世紀(jì)的第一個狂飆突進(jìn)的時代，對社會變革產(chǎn)生了重大影響，成為全民族思想解放運(yùn)動的重要引擎。更為重要的是，“五四”新文化運(yùn)動的倡導(dǎo)者把爭取自由、獲得獨(dú)立人格視為當(dāng)仁不讓的任務(wù)；他們呼吁把個人從壓抑個性的傳統(tǒng)文化的束縛中解放出來，發(fā)展人的獨(dú)立人格和自由意志。

歷史沒有終結(jié)，初心必須牢記——百年之后的2019年，今天的中國已經(jīng)站在新的歷史起點(diǎn)上。我們將迎來新中國成立70周年、澳門回歸祖國20周年，中國文聯(lián)也將迎來創(chuàng)建70周年。在中國特色社會主義新時代，中國的文藝與對外交流必須堅(jiān)持與時代同行，才能在新時代的廣闊天地中迎來群峰聳峙的壯麗前景。

This year marks the 100thanniversary of the "May Fourth" New Culture Movement. A hundred years ago,the first generation of "May Fourth" pioneers,taking the literary revolution as the forerunner,opposed classical Chinese and promoted vernacular Chinese; opposed old literature,such as aristocratic and classical literature,and advocated national literature,social literature and other new literature forms,creating "human literature" and "civilian literature",which has inspired the first era of arrogance and burgeoning of Chinese literature and art in the 20thcentury. It had a major impact on social changes and became an important engine for the national ideological liberation movement. More importantly,the advocates of the "May Fourth" New Culture Movement regarded the struggle for freedom and the independence of individuals as their due tasks; they called for the liberation of individuals from the shackles of traditional culture that suppressed individuality and developed the independent human personality and free will.

The history has not ended,and the initial mission must be borne in mind - in 2019,a hundred years later,China,at present,has standing at a new historical starting point. We shall usher in the 70thanniversary of the founding of New China and the 20thanniversary of the return of Macao to the motherland. It is also the 70thanniversary of the establishment of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the nation's literary and artistic exchanges must adhere to the times,which is conducive to reaching the profound prospects in the midst of all the peaks in the vast world of the new era.
