◆語篇導(dǎo)讀

一個(gè)人在家是自由的、快樂的，雖然暫時(shí)沒有了父母的嘮叨和監(jiān)管，但也潛伏著種種危險(xiǎn)。如果你自己一個(gè)人在家，你該怎樣應(yīng)對(duì)推銷員、調(diào)查員等人的來電呢？對(duì)自稱抄電表的、修檢水管的、檢查煤氣的或自稱是父母的朋友的陌生人，你會(huì)給他們開門嗎？當(dāng)感覺不安全時(shí)，又應(yīng)該向誰求助呢？

Although being home alone during the day or at night can be fun,taking a few extra precautions(預(yù)防措施)is just necessary and important.

If you answer the phone and aren't familiar with the person on the other end,don't let them know you are home alone.If someone calls for your parents,say they are busy or they are unable to come to the phone at that time．

Don't tell personal information about yourself over the phone.If someone calls you to do a survey,just tell them you are unable to answer their questions．

Locking the doors and windows prevents people from entering your house without your permission(許可)．

At night,to make the outside brighter and to make it known that someone is home,leave your front and back lights on．

Know whom you can call for help if needed.For example,your neighbors,friend's parents or your parents work．

If you live in an apartment,don't buzz people in that you don't know．

If you have to answer the door,first check to see who it is if you have a peephole (貓眼)or can see outside.If you don't feel comfortable,don't answer the door.But if you do answer the door,don't let them know that you are there by yourself.

Don't let people you don't know into the house (even if they say they work for the phone company,hydro(水電站)or something like that).Just let your parents know when they get home and they can deal with it．
