由香港海事博物館主辦、廣東省博物館合辦的“東西匯流——13至18世紀的海上絲綢之路”展覽于8月14日至11月11日在香港海事博物館舉行。展覽展出逾200件由內(nèi)地及香港收藏的中國南宋至清初時期的出土文物以及香港本地最新的水下考古發(fā)現(xiàn)。展品涵蓋精美陶瓷、金銀寶石、外銷畫、絲綢、石雕、古籍及地圖、金屬器、竹木器、船模型、海圖等,旨在從商品貿(mào)易、宗教發(fā)展、文化交流、古代史跡和水下考古等多方面為公眾展現(xiàn)中國當時面貌,尤其是南海沿岸的海上絲綢之路發(fā)展過程,奠定其在促進全球化當中的重要角色。
"East Meets West---the Maritime Silk Road During the 13thto 18thCentury" exhibition,hosted by Hong Kong Maritime Museum joined by Guangdong Provincial Museum has been held at Hong Kong Maritime Museum from August 14thto November 11th,displaying more than 200 unearthed cultural relics from the Southern Song Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty collected by the Mainland and Hong Kong collectors and the newest underwater archaeological discoveries in Hong Kong.The exhibits include fine ceramics,gold and silver gems,export paintings,silk,stone carvings,ancient books and maps,metalware,bamboo and wood,ship models,charts and etc.,aiming to present China at that time to the public in terms of trade in goods,religious development,cultural exchanges,ancient historical sites and underwater archaeology and many other aspects,especially the development of the Maritime Silk Road along the South China Sea,laying its important role in promoting globalization.
