Baise Mining Group's Annual 1-million-ton Deep Aluminum Processing Project Commenced

The Baise Municipal Government held a commencement ceremony for Baise Mining Group's 1-million-ton deep aluminum processing project ("Project") at its base in the Poverty Alleviation Industrial Park in Pingguo County.

It's learnt that the Project includes an annual 450,000-ton medium and thick plates and plate belts for transportation project, an annual 160,000-ton section bars for industrial aluminum alloy tubes project, an annual 100,000-ton composite materials for car radiators project, an annual 1.8 million automotive die castings project and an annual 1 million automotive aluminum alloy wheel hubs project. The Project covers a total area of about 6,000 mu, including 4,580-mu land for construction and 1,420-mu land reserved for future development. With an investment of about RMB 16.5 billion and a construction period of 30 months, the Project is expected to be gradually put into operation by June 2020. After reaching its designed capacity, the Project will generate an annual output value of more than RMB 40 billion and a total pre-tax profit of over RMB 3.2 billion and offer about 4,500 jobs, benefiting the community and economy.

Baise is a national demonstration base of the ecological aluminum industry, as well as the main battlefield of second business start-ups for the regional aluminum industry. In 2017, the Baise region has seen explosive growth of aluminum industry projects and great achievements in their construction. For example, Guangxi Hualei New Materials's light alloy material project was put into production, while Baise Mining (Tianlin)'s integrated coal, electricity and aluminum project was completed. The integrated coal, electricity and aluminum project of Baise Mining (Longlin) and Baise Mining (Debao) was accelerated and a large number of deep aluminum processing projects were landed. The total output value of the aluminum industry is expected to break the mark of RMB 100 billion for the first time, making the aluminum industry the first RMB 100-billion industry in Baise.
