Hailiang's Annual 90,000-ton Copper Pipe Project Settled in Jiangjin
Recently, Hailiang Group's Southwest copper production base was formally settled in the Jiangjin Luohuang Industrial Park. It's reported that the project has attracted a total investment of RMB 3 billion, covering an area of 230 mu with an annual capacity of 90,000-ton copper pipes and 60,000-ton copper busbars for air conditioning and refrigeration purposes (3 planned copper pipe production lines for refrigeration purposes, each of which is with a capacity of 30,000 tons; production and deep processing of 60,000-ton copper busbars). Meanwhile, the company will build a Southwest copper production base through merger and integration activities in Southwest China, as well as register and set up a foreign trade company in the Jiangjin Comprehensive Bonded Zone. Upon completion, the project will generate an annual output value of RMB 10 billion and tax revenue of about RMB 200 million, and solve the employment problem for about 700 people. And the foreign trade company will achieve total imports and exports of more than USD 300 million after it is put into operation. With new and cutting-edge equipment, the latest advanced technology and an excellent management team, Hailiang will strive to become the largest, more competitive, more influential and top-quality manufacturing base for new nonferrous metal materials.
