在教學(xué)過程中,我們通常會(huì)創(chuàng)設(shè)相關(guān)情境來展開英語教學(xué)活動(dòng)。不同的教學(xué)活動(dòng)各環(huán)節(jié)之間我們通常又會(huì)用一定的過渡語來銜接,合理巧妙地過渡語言,能有效延伸教學(xué)情境,提示和引導(dǎo)學(xué)生順利地轉(zhuǎn)入下一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)的學(xué)習(xí),如穿針引線,把一節(jié)課的諸多環(huán)節(jié)銜接成一個(gè)連貫緊湊、渾然天成的有機(jī)整體,提升學(xué)生思維水平,提高課堂教學(xué)效果。下面以修訂版PEP五(上)Unit 4 What can you do?Read and write一課為例,闡述如何巧用過渡語,優(yōu)化英語語篇教學(xué)。
過渡語:Hello,children.I’m your new English teacher.This ismyEnglish name,can you read?課件呈現(xiàn):You’re so clever.I’m Candice,I’m friendly.I want to make friends with you.Look!This is my email,I write it on the red heart card(.展示卡片說明本節(jié)課的獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)機(jī)制)If you did a good job,you can get it,then we can be friends.
過渡語:Can you remember the phrases we learn in this unit? First,let’s play a game:sharp eyes.Look at the screen,see the phrasesasquickly as youcan.屏幕最后定格在“Listen, I can sing English songs”上,教師隨機(jī)唱了一段學(xué)生喜聞樂見的“Do Re Mi”。
T:Whatcan you do?
S1:I can dance.
T:Can you dance for us?
過渡語:Now,children,it’s your turn. Ask and answer like this.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:Pre-reading環(huán)節(jié),熱身活動(dòng),通常也是復(fù)習(xí)活動(dòng),是一堂課的開始,它的有效程度直接決定了這節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí)效果。教師通過Greeting,Sharp eyes和Free talk三個(gè)活動(dòng)充分激活舊知,并用精心設(shè)計(jì)的過渡語引起學(xué)生的注意,讓學(xué)生迅速進(jìn)入學(xué)習(xí)英語的狀態(tài),為接下來的學(xué)習(xí)做好鋪墊。
過渡語:Children,you can do somanythings.Can you read this word(教師展示詞卡,an email)? Look,here is an email from Robin.What’sthisemail about?(學(xué)生猜)Now,let’s read the passage quickly and choose the right answer.
過渡語: Robin wants a friend.If you want to make friendswith Robin,you should know more about him,yes?So,what can Robin do?Read and tick or cross now.
過渡語: Now,we know Robin can do many things.Do you wanttoknow moreinformationsaboutRobin.Read for the third time and find the difficuties.
While-reading環(huán)節(jié)主要使用順流式過渡語。Skip reading,Detailed reading,Deep reading三個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)運(yùn)用了非常巧妙的過渡語來銜接,這一系列的過渡語彌補(bǔ)了從一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)到另一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié),跳躍性過渡的缺陷,使學(xué)生在不斷的探究中不知不覺地進(jìn)入了新的情境,實(shí)現(xiàn)了課堂教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)轉(zhuǎn)換的天衣無縫。
過渡語:After reading,we know more informations about Robin. Now let’s listen to Robin’s voice.承接上文,以聽Robin的聲音為由,自然過渡到聽音模仿環(huán)節(jié)。
過渡語:Wow,there are so many Robots in our classroom.I like your voice very much.Robots,can you introduce yourself?引導(dǎo)學(xué)生利用板書復(fù)述文本:I’m...I can...I can’t... 由聽錄音跟讀順延到Retell the passage。
過渡語:Robin can do many things. Do you want to be Robin’s friends. Now, write some sentences to introduce yourself. Who wants to be Robin’s friends?(一名學(xué)生展示)I think maybe Robin wants to make friends with you.
過渡語:Listen!Robin is talking.播放聲音文件:Wow,you’re helpful.I want to make friends with you.Now,let’s enjoy a story together.由Robin對(duì)學(xué)生自我介紹的反饋直接過渡到Story time的學(xué)習(xí),自然、流暢,水到渠成。
板塊的過渡往往會(huì)給一部分學(xué)生帶來一種壓迫感,他們會(huì)覺得這是教師的任務(wù)而不得不去做。Post-reading環(huán)節(jié),隨著學(xué)生的心愿,通過巧妙過渡,讓學(xué)生從語言知識(shí)的操練階段自然過渡到初步運(yùn)用階段,引領(lǐng)他們?cè)趧?chuàng)造中嘗試著運(yùn)用語言。
過渡語是小學(xué)英語教學(xué)活動(dòng)各個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)的紐帶,也是各個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)的潤滑劑,是完整課堂結(jié)構(gòu)中不可或缺的組成部分。因?yàn)橛辛诉^渡語的起承轉(zhuǎn)合,才有了靈動(dòng)升級(jí)的課堂。教師有效地使用過渡語,可以為學(xué)生的課堂學(xué)習(xí)牽線搭橋,使他們?cè)诮處煹闹敢聦W(xué)得明白輕松,學(xué)有所成,提高英語課堂教學(xué)的有效性。僅以此課例拋磚引玉,希望看到各位同仁更多更好的做法。
