1) agree with sb.
I cant agree with you on that point.
Do you agree with me about the need for more schools?
2) agree with what sb say
I quite agree with what you say.
I agree with most of what you said, but I dont agree with everything.
3) agree with sth.
She agreed with this idea.
I agree with his analysis of the situation.
The climate here agrees very well with me.
You look well. The air and the sea foods in Sanya must agree with you,I suppose.
5) agree with sth.
A verb must agree with its subject in person and number.
2. agree to
1) agree to sth. 指“接受、認(rèn)可”,常常指并非出于主觀愿望的“同意”,尤指不樂意或爭論之后的同意(accept an idea, opinion, etc. esp. after unwillingness or argument),多接計(jì)劃、日期、建議、提議、安排、解決辦法等名詞。
She agreed to the plan.
Do you agree to this arrangement?
They agreed to the proposal though they did not actually agree with it.
2) agree to do sth “同意去做某事”,此時(shí)to為不定式符號,后面用動(dòng)詞原形。
He agreed to get someone to help us.
He agreed to let me go home early.
We agree on a date for the next meeting.
We agree on leaving the next day.
We couldnt agree on when to meet.
The price for the house has been agreed on.
4. agree that/ It is agreed that 同意∕一致認(rèn)為
Most scientists agree that global warming is a serious problem.
It is agreed that another meeting was necessary.
5. I could not agree more. (I agree completely with sb)。
—The scheme is bound to fail.
—I couldnt agree more.
endprint
