春長
安曉明出生于1949年,無論身處何境,一直專注于中國山水畫,并取得不斐的成就。上世紀90年代,他的美術作品多次參加全國美展并獲獎,有的還被交流到國際畫展。
他是舟山屈指可數(shù)的的中國美術家協(xié)會會員。
“走進新西蘭”畫展精彩亮相
2011年,安曉明遷居新西蘭。他最近重返家鄉(xiāng)舟山,在舟山美術館舉辦“走進新西蘭——安曉明中國畫作品展”。這是繼2016年10月15日“走進新西蘭——安曉明的山水畫展”在奧克蘭博物館大獲成功后的又一畫展。
此時,他的名片上多了不少“頭銜”:海外華人美術家協(xié)會理事、新西蘭中國畫研究會副會長、新西蘭中國美術家協(xié)會理事、新西蘭美術家協(xié)會理事。
畫展由浙江省美術家協(xié)會、舟山市文聯(lián)、舟山市僑聯(lián)主辦,新西蘭中國美術家協(xié)會、新西蘭美術家協(xié)會、新西蘭中國畫研究會協(xié)辦。
開幕式現(xiàn)場人頭攢動,喜氣洋洋,一片祥和,50余幅新西蘭山水風景畫氣勢磅礴,精美壯觀,使人流連忘返。當天上午有300多人觀展?,F(xiàn)場眾多藝術家對安曉明的作品在技巧和色彩上的創(chuàng)新表示贊賞。
他們認為安曉明的作品風格多樣,既有以中國畫技法為主西洋畫為輔的具象畫,又有潑墨潑彩的抽象畫,雅俗共賞,筆墨生輝,百看不厭。也有書畫愛好者表示看了這次畫展,讓他已經(jīng)愛上了新西蘭,相信有機會能踏上大洋洲彼岸,一睹她神秘的風采。
安曉明昔日插隊的戰(zhàn)友——袁雅婷在看完畫展后感慨道:“40多年前,安曉明曾在舟山東海農(nóng)場與我們同呼吸、共命運!和舟山人有著無可割舍的血緣親情!他經(jīng)歷過無數(shù)坎坷、曲折和艱難……但他堅定剛毅、自強不息,一往無前,用非凡的藝術天賦和能力創(chuàng)作出令世人矚目的畫作!令人驚嘆和感動!安曉明,是我們舟山人的驕傲!是中國人的驕傲!”
大海之子逆境中癡心不改
安曉明少年家境貧苦,只有7年讀書的經(jīng)歷。做過農(nóng)民,做過漆匠,做過工藝美術廠的畫師,還開過小小畫社,但最后關門在家,替裱畫為生的妻子作了幫手,閑時讀書習畫,堅持著一份自學中國畫的信念。
從20世紀90年代中期開始的十年里,他逐漸形成個人創(chuàng)作理念和追求:講究畫面開闊,造景虛實有致,在似與不似間的筑構中,開拓深遠的意境。他尤其擅長兼工帶寫的青綠山水,深得舟山民眾喜愛和畫商贊譽。他這十年的努力堅持,打下了日后在國外創(chuàng)作異鄉(xiāng)山水畫的堅實基礎。
安曉明說:在我步入繪畫的道路上,離不開啟蒙老師徐啟中和顧生夫老師,特別是受到王飚老師和顧生岳教授的精心指導。
出生于海島的安曉明擅長畫海,因為他自幼在海邊長大,大海對他而言,是一塊讓他異常熟悉和自在的地方。他筆下的大海,波瀾壯闊且洶涌澎湃,他喜歡風雨大作時的大海,他的畫作,用筆狠辣,處處都激蕩著大自然無邊的激情。
從20世紀90年代的中期開始,他獨自一人幾乎走遍舟山群島,決心把群島全景盡入畫紙。其間,他沒有經(jīng)濟來源,全靠夫人裱畫微薄所得支持他創(chuàng)作,生活異常拮據(jù)。
就在這種環(huán)境下,他仍腳步不停,每天以群島為伴,與海浪共舞。就這樣十年如一日,早出晚歸,創(chuàng)作出了很多有舟山特色的山與海的畫作。
山水畫架起中新友誼橋梁
由于大兒子已定居新西蘭,2011年起,安曉明也隨之旅居新西蘭。
到新西蘭的第二天他就外出寫生,開始以中國技法展現(xiàn)新西蘭山水畫的探索,由此開啟了一段嶄新的創(chuàng)作生涯。
他完美地把新西蘭的地域特色和中國畫、山水畫結合起來,經(jīng)過不斷探索創(chuàng)新,創(chuàng)作出了《南島系列》《羅托魯瓦印象》《家園》等代表作,其作品多次在新西蘭國會、奧克蘭博物館展覽。去年11月4日,新西蘭前總理約翰基欣然命筆,為安曉明的代表作《家園》簽名。
他在接受新西蘭媒體參訪時動情地說:“我被新西蘭明媚的景色感動。我想在紙上將新西蘭的美表現(xiàn)出來,特別是南島,那種璀璨鮮艷奪目的景色使一個畫家無法離開畫板,這種美與中國不同,這就是我創(chuàng)作的源泉和動力?!?/p>
而今他努力刻苦的鉆研贏得了新西蘭民眾的贊賞?!断闰?qū)報》贊揚“他把新西蘭的地域特色完美地結合在他的中國畫技法中?!薄八麐故斓墓P畫技巧、純粹的中國筆墨畫式的解讀,為觀眾展示著另一種藝術風范,他用純粹的中國畫筆墨畫出了西方世界山水的風景?!?/p>
新西蘭國家黨國會議員楊健先生稱贊“安曉明將新西蘭山水的神韻畫出來了,是中新兩國民間文化傳播最好的注釋”。
海外華人美術家協(xié)會共同主席曹俊說,安曉明的每幅作品都承載著自己的生活歷程與他對祖國及其第二故鄉(xiāng)的深厚感情,可以說正是中國傳統(tǒng)文化的滋養(yǎng),以及科學的研究與表現(xiàn)方式,造就了他成為了一位國際化的中國畫家。
作為安曉明曾經(jīng)的老師,著名畫家、中國美術家協(xié)會會員王飚先生告訴筆者,他們之間經(jīng)常切磋交流。他堅信他會有更好、更精彩的作品問世。因為在他身上有堅定的自信、刻苦的鉆研、從一的堅持、低調(diào)的心態(tài),這些支撐著他一路向前走去、求索求新的成功。
新西蘭中國和平統(tǒng)一促進會副會長,Pakuranga華人協(xié)會會長洪本立在致安曉明畫展祝賀詞中這樣寫道:書畫藝術是中國文化的重要組成部分,是世界民族藝術殿堂中的瑰寶。傳承及將其發(fā)揚光大,是我們?nèi)A夏兒女的神圣職責!安曉明先生獨具一格的畫作不僅表達了廣大書畫愛好者,也表達了每一位海外華人華僑,熱愛祖國熱愛家鄉(xiāng)的真情實感。
洪本立說,安曉明以新西蘭的真實美景為載體,從多個角度多個層次表現(xiàn)和描繪了新西蘭的秀麗河山,力將美輪美奐的奇山異景盡收畫中。尤其令我感慨和嘆為觀止的是,面對新西蘭四面環(huán)海的特色,先生利用中國國畫特有的表現(xiàn)力,將大海的洶涌波濤淋漓盡致地、細膩又真實地展現(xiàn)在我們眼前,讓人看后回味無窮。安曉明通過他的畫作,將中國的書畫藝術植根于新西蘭肥沃的土壤里,不僅讓他走進新西蘭,而且讓他在這片沃土上茁壯地成長,并為構筑、加深中新兩國的偉大友誼推波助瀾。洪本立認為,這正是安曉明作品最具生命力,最具感染力和最具震撼力的原因所在。
新西蘭浙江同鄉(xiāng)會、浙江商會在賀信中說,安曉明把中國畫的技法和西方油畫風格完美地結合,形成了自己獨特的畫風,把新西蘭的美景完美地呈現(xiàn)在大家的面前。
新西蘭中國畫研究會會長大朝認為,作為新西蘭著名山水畫家,近年來,安曉明先生是以自己獨特的中國畫筆墨,成功演繹了新西蘭的魅力山水,為新西蘭美術百花園增添了一朵芬芳的花朵。特別是在奧克蘭市博物館舉辦的《走進新西蘭》安曉明山水畫作品展,在新西蘭美術界產(chǎn)生了很好的反響。他由衷祝愿安曉明先生在今后的山水畫創(chuàng)作中取得更大成績,為中國畫走向國際,為中新文化交流、交融作出自己應有的貢獻!
Born in 1949, New Zealand-based An Xiaoming is one of the few representing the artist circle of Zhoushan Archipelago to rank in the hall of fame of the China Artist Association. His fame reached its peak in the 1990s, when many of his works wowed an international audience. Chinese painting remained the sole focus throughout his art career. He is now a leading figure in the artist community of New Zealand.
An Xiaoming moved to New Zealand to live with his elder son in 2011. His most recent revisit to his hometown Zhoushan was for a solo exhibition held at the Zhoushan Art Museum, following the sensation of another one held at the Auckland Museum in October of 2016.
The opening ceremony of the Zhoushan exhibition, which displayed more than 50 landscape paintings depicting the scenic charm of his adopted land, saw a turnout of more than 300 people. His works, coming in various styles from traditional Chinese painting to Western abstractionism, suit both refined and popular tastes. Many visitors confessed to have fallen in love with New Zealand after seeing the artists depiction of the beautiful country.
“The memories about all the hardships we endured together when we were working in the farms in Zhoushan about 40 years ago are too bitter to recall. It is nothing but stunning perseverance and unfailing faith that made An Xiaoming what he is today,” the artists friend Yuan Yating comments. In her eyes, An Xiaoming is the embodiment of ‘Zhoushan spirit.
Born in an impoverished family, An Xiaoming dropped out of school at a young age to eke out a living. For many years, he had to stay at home as an assistant to his wife who was at that time the breadwinner and managed to make ends meet by framing paintings.
The mans artistic style took shape in the 1990s, and won many fans in Zhoushan for his freehand brushwork landscape paintings. His ten year diligence and exploration laid a solid foundation for his future career in New Zealand.
“I owe my success to a lot of people, especially Xu Qizhong and Gu Shengfu who led me into the wonderland of art, and Wang Biao and Gu Shengyue whose painstaking guidance honed my skills and tastes,” An Xiaoming recalls.
‘Sea is a common thread in the artists creation. For him, the sea is his birthplace, his spiritual home in which he feels at ease. The stormy billows always inspire him, as reflected by his bold strokes that present the immense passion and power of Nature. In those years of strained circumstances, he explored the nooks and crannies of Zhoushan for a panoramic understanding of the archipelago.
He went out to paint the day right after he landed in New Zealand, and has since been exploring his own way to portray the beauty of the country by incorporating Chinese elements. Many of his masterpieces, such as , and , were created in New Zealand and featured at major exhibitions hosted by the Congress and Auckland Museum. One of his fans is former New Zealand Prime Minister John P. Key.
“The radiant scenery of New Zealand touches my heart, and I want to express what I see through my art. I just couldnt take my eyes off the beauty of the South Island (the larger of the two major islands of New Zealand). It is so different from what I saw in China, filling in me a new wave of creative impulses.”
“He brought out the essence of the New Zealand landscapes in his own unique style that combines traditional Chinese painting and Western oil art; his works add a beautiful footnote to the cultural communication of the two countries,” says Yang Jian, Council member of the New Zealand National Party.
“Each of his works runs over with his life experiences and his love for the mother land and his ‘second hometown, and in this sense, he is a truly international artist,” says Cao Jun, co-Chair of Overseas Chinese Artists Association.
