Cultural Integration and Innovation in Sino—foreign Cooperation in Running Schools in the Perspective of Education Values

Abstract: Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools has become an inexorable trend in the background of globalization, and has contributed to the international competitiveness of our countrys education. However, clashes in educational culture, including clashes in teaching material culture, in teaching spiritual culture and in teaching system culture, unavoidably arise from cultural differences and the according differences in education values. The principle to settle the clashes is to seek truth from facts. The method is integration and innovation,namely,to create a new type of education culture,by establishing a new type of student-oriented material culture, a new type of teaching-oriented spiritual culture, and a new type of people-oriented teaching system culture. The cultural integration and innovation of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools is, in essence, the sublation of Chinese and western traditional cultures.
