牛至精油在畜禽生產(chǎn)中的研究進(jìn)展

牛至是一種多年生草本植物,從中提取的精油具有抗菌,抗氧化等性能,近年來(lái)作為一種飼料添加劑在畜禽生產(chǎn)中得到廣泛應(yīng)用并取得了良好效果。在動(dòng)物生產(chǎn)中,牛至精油能提高生長(zhǎng)性能和增強(qiáng)免疫能力,改善肉質(zhì)品質(zhì),增加飼料利用率,降低發(fā)病率等。本文主要對(duì)牛至精油的作用機(jī)理以及對(duì)畜禽生產(chǎn)性能的影響進(jìn)行了綜述,以期為牛至精油的進(jìn)一步開(kāi)發(fā)利用提供參考依據(jù)。
牛至精油;畜禽;生產(chǎn)性能
在動(dòng)物生產(chǎn)過(guò)程中,為了提高畜禽對(duì)飼料的利用率以及預(yù)防一些病原菌引發(fā)的動(dòng)物疾病,利用植物精油代替抗生素來(lái)抑制對(duì)抗生素已經(jīng)產(chǎn)生抗藥性的病菌(Franz等,2010)。許多植物的次生代謝產(chǎn)物都有抗菌活性,并且能提高反芻家畜的養(yǎng)分消化率(Hristov等,1999;Wang等,1996)。因此,科研人員在動(dòng)物飼料中添加植物精油來(lái)調(diào)節(jié)反芻動(dòng)物瘤胃微生物發(fā)酵從而提高生產(chǎn)效率。本文對(duì)牛至精油在畜禽生產(chǎn)中的應(yīng)用研究進(jìn)展進(jìn)行了綜述。
牛至(Origanum vulgare L.)是一種芳香植物,主要作為香料用于調(diào)味食品。俗稱止痢草,屬于唇形科牛至屬,主要分布于我國(guó)的云南,四川等西南省份(孫克年,2012)。牛至中最重要的活性物質(zhì)是從含酚類化合物中提取的揮發(fā)油(趙海伊等,2013)。牛至精油主要成分是苯酚類物質(zhì),其中香芹酚和百里香酚占78%~82%(胡艷芬等,2010;Lee等,2002;Goliaris等,2002;Elgayyar等2001;Vokou等,1993),另外還含有α-松油烯、月桂烯、枯茗酸等萜烯,芳樟醇、萜醇、脂肪酮及環(huán)醚類化合物等(陳昊等,2015)。
牛至精油由20多種酚類化合物組成,而大多數(shù)酚類都具有抗氧化性(Papageorgiou等,2003;Bendini等,2002)和強(qiáng)而穩(wěn)定的抗菌活性 (金立志,2007;Lambert和Marino等,2001),此外還有免疫調(diào)節(jié)功能。因此在飼料中添加牛至精油不但可以提高動(dòng)物生長(zhǎng)性能,并且能增強(qiáng)其免疫功能。
2.1 抗菌活性 牛至精油中起抗菌作用的主要成分是酚類化合物—香芹酚和百里香酚(何蘭花等,2004、2003),由于其有酚醛結(jié)構(gòu) (Farag等,1989)。研究表明,香芹酚和百里香酚的首要作用模式是膜穿孔和膜黏合(金立志,2007),從而改變細(xì)菌細(xì)胞膜通透性引起胞內(nèi)物質(zhì)外泄(Mellencamp等,2011),破壞其酶系統(tǒng)(Farag等,1989),導(dǎo)致細(xì)菌死亡。Preuss和Mellencamp等(2011、2005)研究發(fā)現(xiàn),牛至精油對(duì)大腸桿菌、腸炎沙門氏菌、金黃色葡萄球菌等病原菌具有很好的抑制和殺滅作用,殺菌濃度在1.25~10 μg/mL,其作用機(jī)理主要是影響其細(xì)胞膜的功能。Bard等(1988)研究表明,牛至精油可以干擾細(xì)胞膜的功能,使細(xì)胞中的鉀離子大量外滲,降低細(xì)胞膜脂質(zhì)層的相變溫度,影響細(xì)胞膜脂質(zhì)層的流動(dòng)性。這表明牛至精油中親脂物質(zhì)可以穿透細(xì)胞膜,從而抑制了微生物的活性,起到抗菌作用(Helander等,1998)。
2.2 抗氧化活性 Baratta等(1998)研究發(fā)現(xiàn),牛至精油有很強(qiáng)的抗氧化性質(zhì),其可以保持油脂的穩(wěn)定,避免低脂肪和多不飽和脂肪酸氧化降解引起的營(yíng)養(yǎng)價(jià)值降低。顧仁勇(2006)研究表明,牛至精油具有一定的抗氧化效果,并且隨著牛至精油用量的加大而增強(qiáng)。Ruberto等(2002)報(bào)道,牛至精油具有很強(qiáng)的抗氧化活性,可能與其所含的百里香酚和香芹酚有關(guān)系。原因可能是百里香酚苯環(huán)上的羥基可為脂肪氧化中第一步產(chǎn)生的自由基提供氫離子,從而延緩過(guò)氧化過(guò)程(Farag等,1989)。
姜?。?004)對(duì)希臘的牛至研究表明,黃酮的抗氧化性能明顯強(qiáng)于它的揮發(fā)性成分。通過(guò)色譜分光光度分析發(fā)現(xiàn),牛至精油中主要的抗氧化成分是黃酮、黃迷酮、圣草酚和黃烷醇酮等物質(zhì),這些成分阻止了氧化途徑,從而提高了牛至精油的抗氧化性能。
2.3 牛至精油的其他活性 牛至精油除了有抗菌和抗氧化活性外,還可以增強(qiáng)動(dòng)物機(jī)體的免疫能力,當(dāng)動(dòng)物處于應(yīng)激的情況下,畜禽免疫力低下,易受細(xì)菌、病毒侵襲,從而引起疾病的發(fā)生。林清華等(1999、1997)研究發(fā)現(xiàn),適量牛至精油能增強(qiáng)小鼠的細(xì)胞免疫和體液免疫功能,低劑量的牛至精油對(duì)小鼠血清溶血素生成及脾臟細(xì)胞抗體分泌量有明顯的增強(qiáng)作用。
3.1 牛至精油對(duì)豬生產(chǎn)性能的影響 牛至精油的抗菌、抗真菌和抗氧化活性可以維持一個(gè)健康的腸道微生物區(qū)系,能夠降低仔豬腹瀉率,防治下?。▽O鎏國(guó)等,2005;邱楚武,2003)。另外,可以清除腸道有害病菌,提高仔豬對(duì)飼料的轉(zhuǎn)化率 (汪莉,2006)。同時(shí),牛至精油作為一種植物飼料添加劑,具有辛辣,芳香的味道,能夠刺激食欲,提高采食量。汪莉等(2006)研究表明,在仔豬的基礎(chǔ)日糧中添加20 mg/kg牛至精油可以提高飼料的利用率,促進(jìn)仔豬生長(zhǎng),提高日增重,但差異不顯著(P>0.05)。伍喜林(2003)和曹建國(guó)(2004)等都得到了同樣的結(jié)果。Tan等(2015)研究發(fā)現(xiàn),在妊娠和哺乳母豬的基礎(chǔ)日糧中添加牛至精油可以改善仔豬的生產(chǎn)性能。
牛至精油對(duì)母豬的繁殖性能也有積極的影響。Allan等(2005)研究發(fā)現(xiàn),在繁殖母豬日糧中添加牛至精油,能顯著增加母豬的產(chǎn)仔量和仔豬的存活數(shù)量,降低死產(chǎn)率(P=0.05)。試驗(yàn)結(jié)果還表明,添加牛至精油組母豬年死亡率較對(duì)照組顯著降低(P<0.01),這是因?yàn)榕V辆陀锌咕?,消炎等作用,并且香芹酚和百里香酚能夠影響母豬腸道的黏膜表面與加快腸道絨毛上皮細(xì)胞的更新速度。這將減少病原體對(duì)腸上皮細(xì)胞的感染和提高營(yíng)養(yǎng)物質(zhì)的吸收能力(Khajarern,2002)。
3.2 牛至精油對(duì)禽類生產(chǎn)性能的影響 牛至精油對(duì)禽類生產(chǎn)性能的改善主要集中在肉雞、肉鴨及蛋雞等方面。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),牛至精油可以提高肉雞的增重,降低死亡率(金立志,2007)。陶春衛(wèi)等(2015)證實(shí),牛至精油可顯著促進(jìn)肉雞生長(zhǎng),降低料重比(P<0.05),日增重提高3.14 g/只(P<0.05),肉雞的存活率提高3.01%(P<0.05)。黃國(guó)清(2008)也得到了同樣的結(jié)果。Botsoglou等(2002)研究發(fā)現(xiàn),當(dāng)牛至精油添加量為 20~200 mg/kg時(shí),試驗(yàn)組肉雞增重效果明顯,并且采食量增加。陳立華等(2006)研究發(fā)現(xiàn),肉仔雞生長(zhǎng)前期(0~3周齡)以125 mg/kg的添加量為宜,生長(zhǎng)后期(4~6周齡)為100 mg/kg。研究表明,在肉雞日糧中添加牛至精油不僅可以改善料肉比,提高日增重,增加飼料的利用率,而且可以改變?nèi)怆u胴體品質(zhì)。牛至精油對(duì)穩(wěn)定蛋雞的產(chǎn)蛋率以及減緩產(chǎn)蛋率的下降也具有明顯效果(廖厚祥等,2003)。
徐善金等(2013)研究發(fā)現(xiàn),牛至精油對(duì)肉鴨具有明顯的促生長(zhǎng)作用,且能提高飼料的轉(zhuǎn)化率,降低料肉比,其中日糧中添加20 mg/kg牛至精油效果最佳。陳權(quán)軍(2004)和陳會(huì)良等(2005)在日糧中添加牛至精油,結(jié)果表明,肉鴨日增重顯著增加,料肉比顯著降低(P<0.05)。
3.3 牛至精油對(duì)奶牛生產(chǎn)性能的影響 牛至精油在奶牛生產(chǎn)性能方面的報(bào)道比較多。Hristov等(2013)研究發(fā)現(xiàn),牛至葉可以降低奶牛的干物質(zhì)采食量,提高飼料的利用率(P<0.01),但對(duì)產(chǎn)奶量無(wú)顯著影響。Tekippe等(2011)發(fā)現(xiàn),飼喂牛至葉對(duì)奶牛的干物質(zhì)采食量、體重以及飼料的利用率均無(wú)顯著影響(P>0.05)。Oliveira等(2014)研究發(fā)現(xiàn),在日糧中添加牛至可以提高產(chǎn)奶量,平均每天可達(dá)到12.9 kg,經(jīng)濟(jì)效益顯著提高。另外,Nowers(2016)研究發(fā)現(xiàn),牛至精油可顯著影響牛奶的脂肪含量,提高產(chǎn)奶量。用含牛至精油的日糧飼喂奶牛30 d,奶牛的乳脂率提高了7.57%(P<0.05),并且產(chǎn)奶量也有上升趨勢(shì),但差異不顯著。這表明牛至精油能夠提高奶牛的生產(chǎn)性能。夏季高溫會(huì)使奶牛處于應(yīng)激狀態(tài),增加乳房炎和腹瀉的發(fā)病機(jī)率,遠(yuǎn)立國(guó)等(2004)把牛至精油與黃霉素聯(lián)合應(yīng)用于奶牛生產(chǎn)中,發(fā)現(xiàn)兩者可有效控制奶牛的乳房炎。陳昊等(2015)單獨(dú)進(jìn)行了牛至精油對(duì)奶牛乳房炎與腹瀉發(fā)病率影響的研究,結(jié)果表明,牛至精油能夠降低奶牛的乳房炎發(fā)病率和腹瀉率。由于牛至精油有特殊的刺激性香味,有刺激家畜食欲的作用,從而提高了奶牛的采食量和生產(chǎn)性能,另外還能改善食糜的黏稠度,提高飼料的消化率(王金榮,2007)。
抗生素藥物在動(dòng)物產(chǎn)品中的殘留問(wèn)題已引起廣泛關(guān)注。研究表明,牛至精油具有促生長(zhǎng),提高動(dòng)物產(chǎn)品品質(zhì)的性能。因此,新型牛至產(chǎn)品的研究開(kāi)發(fā)已受到各國(guó)的重視,但目前在反芻動(dòng)物羊上利用的較少,尤其是放牧或放牧加補(bǔ)飼狀態(tài)下的羊利用鮮見(jiàn)。

Oregano is a perennial herb.The essential oil extracted from oregano has antibacterial and antioxidation property,which can be used as a type of feed additive,and widely used in livestock and poultry production in recent years,and has obtained good effect.In animal production,oregano essential oil can improve growth performance and enhance immunity.It can improve the quality of the meat,enhance the utilization rate of feed,reduce the morbidity of mastitis and diarrhea. In this paper,the action mechanism of oregano essential oil and its influence to the livestock and poultry production performance were summarized,in order to provide reference for the further development and utilization of oregano essential oil.
