As is known to all, we human beings are supposed to respect Mother Nature as well as other children of hers, like wild animals, which I think are not treated equally, however.

The greed[貪婪]rooted deeply in our hearts has expanded with the development of economy and society, leading to a series of ridiculous behaviors, harming the environment, invading wild animals’ habitats. To make matters worse, driven by huge profits, poachers[偷獵者]even kill them. Although some measures[法令]have been taken, it is far from enough.

To solve the problem at its root, people’s awareness of respecting Mother Nature should be raised. In addition, authorities should perfect the laws of protecting wild animals and strengthen the force of punishment.

It is high time that we repaid[償還]our debts since it is we human beings who owe to them, to Mother Nature and ourselves.

老師點(diǎn)評：這是一篇在課堂上自擬題目的演講稿。文章以對某種現(xiàn)象的描述開頭，激起聽眾的興趣；然后陳述人類在利益的驅(qū)動下破壞環(huán)境，傷害野生動物；最后提出對應(yīng)的解決措施，號召大家尊重自然——我們?nèi)祟惞餐哪赣H。整篇文章結(jié)構(gòu)清晰完整，詞匯豐富，句型多樣！
