Mark Twain is an American. He lives in New York. One day, Mark Twain goes to England. He is on a train. He puts his ticket in his coat, sits down and reads a book. The conductor(列車(chē)員) comes to him and wants to see his ticket. Mark Twain looks for the ticket here and there, but he cant find it. So he says to the conductor, “Im sorry. I bought a ticket. But I cant find it now!” The conductor knows Mark Twain. So he says, “Dont worry. If you cant find it, it doesnt matter.” “Oh, but I must find it. If I cant find it, I dont know where Im going.”
