《重慶與世界》由重慶市人民政府外事僑務(wù)辦公室主管主辦，重慶市人民政府新聞辦公室指導(dǎo)；2003年中央治理整頓報刊后，重慶市唯一保留的由政府機(jī)關(guān)主辦的大型涉外綜合性月刊?！吨貞c與世界》自1984年創(chuàng)刊以來，作為“讓重慶走向世界，讓世界了解重慶”的橋梁和紐帶，一直得到中央有關(guān)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)，重慶市歷屆領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的重視、關(guān)心和支持，贏得各界人士和廣大讀者的充分肯定和贊譽(yù)。
