Good morning,everybody!
Today,I stand here to address a pressing global issue—world hunger. This is a crisis affecting millions of people and demanding our attention and action.
Firstly,we need to address the issue of food waste. It is estimated that one-third of the world's food products go to waste.Secondly,we must promote sustainable agricultural practices. This includes investing in modern technology, such as farm automation and precision farming.Furthermore,we need to enhance global cooperation and support organizations that fight against hunger.
If everyone joins the fight against world hunger, the world will become a better place to live in.
That's all.Thank you!

Recently,we've had a discussion on whether we should do vertical farming.
70% of students hold the view that vertical farming is beneficial. Not only does it use less water than a traditional farm needs, but also it can get rid of the need for pesticides, providing people with safer food. However, others think differently. They say it costs money to power LED lights and the complex growing systems. What's more, vertical farms running on fossil fuels may be bad for climate.
In my opinion, with the population increasing, vertical farming is a sustainable way to meet people's demands for fresher and safer food.

Paragraph 1:
Suddenly she saw something small and dark green behind the leg of the dressing table. She pulled it out,and saw the white initials J.J.in the top right-hand corner.“It's Jinny's music tape!”she exclaimed.Laurie's heart started beating fast.“All I'd have to do is forget that I found this,”she thought.“If Jinny doesn't have her music, she might as well not skate. And then I would win.”Laurie shivered slightly as she thought about this. Then she wondered,“Does winning mean so much to me that I'd be willing to cheat for it?”She walked to the door and called Jinny loudly.Paragraph 2:
Feeling relieved,Laurie skated quickly to the center of the rink after the announcer finally called her name. The music filled the stadium and she skated gracefully and beautifully. Her left knee was fine and she felt herself gliding on the ice.The audience applauded from time to time, enthusiastically supporting her in her comeback. When she finished, her coach ran up to her and hugged her.“You did it,Laurie!” she said.Laurie smiled and thought about Jinny's music tape.“No one will ever know how close I really came to losing,”she said softly to herself.

Students'visit to Agricultural Ecological Park
Last Saturday, our school's Students'Union organized an exciting excursion to Agricultural Ecological Park.
First and foremost,we had the opportunity to admire the beautiful flowers and plants in the park.It was truly a feast for the eyes.
Moreover,we got to experience the joy of picking fresh fruits and vegetables first-hand.Armed with baskets,we roamed around the park, carefully selecting the ripest produce.
Furthermore, the excursion provided valuable insights into modern agriculture. We were given a guided tour of the park, where dedicated staff members explained the various advanced techniques and technologies used in farming.
The visit to Agricultural Ecological Park was not only enjoyable but also educational. It allowed us to appreciate the beauty of nature, and understand the hard work behind food production.
第二節(jié)
Paragraph 1:
In September, another barbecue came with more new friends. My neighbors Mr and Mrs Smith brought their two sons, while my friends Mr and Mrs Carpenter brought their two daughters.Of course,we brought Zack, with his pet chicken Valor,to the barbecue in high spirits. Many friends who we hadn't met before gathered together to participate in the barbecue.Everyone greeted each other with smiles on their faces. We got together with a few friends and we were ready to have the barbecue.
Paragraph 2:
When I suggested introducing our new friends, amazingly,Zack stood up.He said that he first wanted to introduce himself to everyone. Then he said loudly,“My name is Zack, and I'm glad to meet you.I used to have very few friends, maybe only this pet chicken.I want to make more friends, and I believe I can become good friends with you.Thank you!”What was even more surprising was that everyone applauded and cheered. This gave me great satisfaction,so I tightly held Zack in my arms and gave him a big hug.
