鄉(xiāng)賢文化是中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化的組成部分，鄉(xiāng)賢文化是扎根于中國(guó)家鄉(xiāng)的母土文化。在漫長(zhǎng)的中國(guó)歷史進(jìn)程中，鄉(xiāng)賢文化在社會(huì)文明進(jìn)程中發(fā)揮著重要作用。

在紹興市上虞區(qū)，鄉(xiāng)賢文化已成為文化金名片，每年吸引著全國(guó)各地100多個(gè)單位、團(tuán)體、組織前來學(xué)習(xí)取經(jīng)?！吧嫌萼l(xiāng)賢研究會(huì)成立21年，在推動(dòng)上虞發(fā)展、文化傳承、和諧社會(huì)建設(shè)和海內(nèi)外游子的聯(lián)絡(luò)聯(lián)誼上，發(fā)揮了非常重要的助推作用，這離不開陳秋強(qiáng)會(huì)長(zhǎng)的辛勤耕耘?！鼻安痪?，中國(guó)駐柬埔寨王國(guó)特命全權(quán)大使王文天和夫人顧小軍專程前往上虞鄉(xiāng)賢館參觀，并親手植下一棵鄉(xiāng)賢樹，寄托海外游子的赤子情懷和對(duì)家鄉(xiāng)的美好期盼。

21年來，上虞鄉(xiāng)賢研究會(huì)在陳秋強(qiáng)的辛勤付出和不懈努力下，推動(dòng)上虞鄉(xiāng)賢文化走出國(guó)門、走向世界，搭建起海內(nèi)外上虞游子思鄉(xiāng)之橋，吸引著越來越多的虞籍鄉(xiāng)賢和海外游子關(guān)注家鄉(xiāng)、回報(bào)家鄉(xiāng)。

致敬鄉(xiāng)賢，他搭起了溝通熱線

2020年11月7日，紀(jì)念“中國(guó)稀土之父”徐光憲院士誕辰100周年活動(dòng)在浙江省紹興市上虞區(qū)湯浦鎮(zhèn)徐光憲故居隆重舉行。上虞以家鄉(xiāng)之名致敬科學(xué)大家，深切緬懷這位國(guó)家最高科學(xué)技術(shù)獎(jiǎng)獲得者、中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士、著名化學(xué)家。

活動(dòng)儀式上，徐光憲的女兒徐放激動(dòng)地說，在父親老家參加他百年誕辰系列活動(dòng)，充滿了濃濃的鄉(xiāng)情和落葉歸根之意，也充分體現(xiàn)了家鄉(xiāng)人民對(duì)父親所作貢獻(xiàn)的敬意。相信父親求實(shí)創(chuàng)新的科教作風(fēng)、寬以待人的高尚風(fēng)格、情系桑梓的品德風(fēng)范，一定能在故鄉(xiāng)的土地上生根開花，發(fā)揚(yáng)光大。

這是常年旅居美國(guó)的徐放第二次踏上故鄉(xiāng)的土地。第一次還是在2009年，那一年父親徐光憲90歲，因?yàn)殛惽飶?qiáng)牽頭為她的祖父母整修了墓地，她與父親一起來家鄉(xiāng)上虞湯浦鎮(zhèn)祭祀。祭祀現(xiàn)場(chǎng)，徐光憲語重心長(zhǎng)地對(duì)徐放說：“上虞對(duì)我們有恩，今后你們有機(jī)會(huì)要為家鄉(xiāng)多出力?！备赣H的話扎根在徐放的心中，從此家鄉(xiāng)上虞成了她靈魂深處的牽掛。

2020年是徐光憲誕辰100周年，上虞區(qū)計(jì)劃修繕徐光憲故居，并舉辦隆重的紀(jì)念活動(dòng)，希望陳秋強(qiáng)能與徐光憲后裔聯(lián)系參加活動(dòng)并落實(shí)徐老生前部分實(shí)物的捐贈(zèng)。雖然平時(shí)與徐氏后裔聯(lián)系不多，但徐老當(dāng)初對(duì)女兒的一番肺腑之言讓陳秋強(qiáng)心里有了底氣。幾經(jīng)輾轉(zhuǎn)，他聯(lián)系上了徐放。面對(duì)來自家鄉(xiāng)的邀約，徐放毫不猶豫，一口答應(yīng)。

當(dāng)時(shí)疫情形勢(shì)嚴(yán)峻，回國(guó)十分不便，但徐放態(tài)度十分堅(jiān)決，自己一定趕回來參加紀(jì)念活動(dòng)。同時(shí)她告訴陳秋強(qiáng)，父親在國(guó)內(nèi)有幾個(gè)很好的弟子，她會(huì)出面邀請(qǐng)他們參加；父親生前的部分物品存放在紹興，她也會(huì)主動(dòng)聯(lián)系轉(zhuǎn)贈(zèng)給湯浦徐光憲故居。

徐光憲故居的修繕和紀(jì)念活動(dòng)籌備工作開始后，陳秋強(qiáng)又積極投入其中，多次參與修繕方案的策劃、相關(guān)人士的拜訪、物品捐贈(zèng)的接洽，尤其是與徐放多次溝通聯(lián)系，搭起了一條主辦方和徐光憲后裔之間的熱線。

紀(jì)念活動(dòng)那天，徐放來了；徐光憲的弟子—中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士、蘭州大學(xué)校長(zhǎng)嚴(yán)純?nèi)A，中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士、華南理工大學(xué)校長(zhǎng)高松等都來了。民盟中央、北京大學(xué)、上海交大、同濟(jì)大學(xué)等有關(guān)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)及專家學(xué)者、徐光憲生前好友和學(xué)生代表共同出席紀(jì)念活動(dòng)?；顒?dòng)極大提升了上虞的美譽(yù)度，也成為上虞鄉(xiāng)賢文化進(jìn)一步創(chuàng)新發(fā)展的一個(gè)標(biāo)志。

離開上虞前，徐放飽含深情地為上虞鄉(xiāng)賢研究會(huì)寫下感言：“我的父親讓我認(rèn)識(shí)了家鄉(xiāng)上虞，我倍受感動(dòng)，我想我有必要讓我的孩子也了解這一片故土，并且有一天能帶他踏上這片有著豐富文化底蘊(yùn)的故鄉(xiāng)?！?/p>

僑胞之家，他接續(xù)上鄉(xiāng)賢之根

雖已耄耋之年，但陳秋強(qiáng)精氣神極佳。說起他與泰國(guó)虞籍鄉(xiāng)賢錢湘麟的交往，更是興致所至，滔滔不絕。

2017年11月，一次偶然的機(jī)會(huì)，陳秋強(qiáng)獲悉泰國(guó)商界一位很有影響力的人物—泰國(guó)江浙滬總商會(huì)主席、泰國(guó)著名僑領(lǐng)錢湘麟是上虞人，他立即與泰國(guó)有關(guān)人士聯(lián)系，發(fā)現(xiàn)除了錢湘麟外，還有不少虞籍鄉(xiāng)賢在泰國(guó)發(fā)展。于是，一個(gè)“走近泰國(guó)虞籍鄉(xiāng)賢”的活動(dòng)在他心中萌動(dòng)。

一周后，陳秋強(qiáng)率上虞鄉(xiāng)賢研究會(huì)和當(dāng)?shù)孛襟w組成的采訪團(tuán)來到泰國(guó)首都曼谷。次日，在錢湘麟住處,對(duì)他進(jìn)行了專題采訪。

錢湘麟在泰國(guó)創(chuàng)業(yè)30余年，鄉(xiāng)音未改，對(duì)祖國(guó)、對(duì)家鄉(xiāng)的感情十分深厚。正是憑著這份感情，他參加了泰國(guó)江浙會(huì)館并擔(dān)任理事長(zhǎng)，并牽頭組建了泰國(guó)江浙滬總商會(huì)，與中國(guó)各級(jí)政府、僑辦、外經(jīng)辦廣泛聯(lián)系，搭建橋梁和平臺(tái)，促進(jìn)泰中經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易發(fā)展。

陳秋強(qiáng)向錢湘麟介紹家鄉(xiāng)上虞的發(fā)展變化，引發(fā)了他對(duì)家鄉(xiāng)的關(guān)切和思念，分別時(shí)，他寫下“我的根在上虞”的題詞。

2018年6月，錢湘麟率泰國(guó)江浙滬總商會(huì)代表專程來上虞考察。走在家鄉(xiāng)的土地上，聽著熟稔的鄉(xiāng)音，吃著家鄉(xiāng)的菜肴，離別家鄉(xiāng)30多年的游子，一圓甜甜的鄉(xiāng)愁夢(mèng)。

后來，錢湘麟又一次來到家鄉(xiāng)，在豐惠錢家大院的祖宅，他探望了久別重逢的親戚和鄰居，聽說錢氏要續(xù)修家譜，立刻拿出5萬元資助。如今，錢湘麟和他的泰國(guó)江浙滬總商會(huì)與上虞保持著密切的聯(lián)系，他深情地表示：“如果有機(jī)會(huì)，定會(huì)盡己所能，為家鄉(xiāng)經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展貢獻(xiàn)綿薄之力?！?/p>

在探訪上虞鄉(xiāng)賢研究會(huì)時(shí)，錢湘麟一行特地送上一面錦旗：“僑胞之家 鄉(xiāng)賢之根?！边@也是對(duì)陳秋強(qiáng)這位鄉(xiāng)賢文化擺渡人的衷心褒獎(jiǎng)。

中日交流，他化身文化使者

2017年3月28日，在梁祝文化發(fā)源地—浙江上虞區(qū)豐惠鎮(zhèn)祝家莊村的祝府古戲臺(tái)上，日文版話劇《梁?！分辛荷讲妥Ｓ⑴_(tái)的扮演者和上虞兩位越劇愛好者共同演繹《梁?！愤x段。雖然語言不通，但身著中國(guó)古戲服、專業(yè)而投入的日本演員的精彩表演，贏得景區(qū)游客的陣陣掌聲。

“這是我第4次來‘英臺(tái)故里’上虞?！蹦曛凉畔〉娜毡玖鹤Ｎ幕瘜＜?、學(xué)者渡邊明次攜日文版話劇《梁祝》編劇古野浩昭和劇中主演等在上虞進(jìn)行梁祝文化交流活動(dòng)。

渡邊明次被譽(yù)為日本尋訪“梁?！钡谝蝗恕Ｋc上虞的交集也始于“梁?！保鴮?duì)“梁?！蔽幕陌V迷，讓他與國(guó)家級(jí)非遺“梁祝傳說”代表性傳承人陳秋強(qiáng)相知結(jié)緣，并有著很深的交往。

上虞是梁祝傳說中祝英臺(tái)的故里，搶救挖掘梁祝文化遺產(chǎn)，一直是陳秋強(qiáng)領(lǐng)銜的上虞鄉(xiāng)賢研究會(huì)關(guān)注的重點(diǎn)。2005年前后，不少地方出現(xiàn)了爭(zhēng)奪“梁祝故里”的現(xiàn)象，而此時(shí)的祝氏祖堂因年久失修，瀕臨倒塌。研究會(huì)提出搶救性修復(fù)的建議，并自籌資金15萬元進(jìn)行“修舊如舊”，修復(fù)了祝氏祖堂?！爸袊?guó)英臺(tái)之鄉(xiāng)”花落上虞，其中上虞鄉(xiāng)賢研究會(huì)發(fā)揮了獨(dú)特的作用。

據(jù)中國(guó)梁祝文化研究會(huì)會(huì)長(zhǎng)周靜書介紹，陳秋強(qiáng)第一次見到日本梁祝研究所所長(zhǎng)渡邊明次時(shí)，說起“梁?！惫适?，大有相見恨晚之感。

因被凄美的《梁山伯與祝英臺(tái)》所感動(dòng)，渡邊明次踏上了漫長(zhǎng)的尋訪之路，足跡踏遍中國(guó)10多個(gè)省，走訪了中國(guó)17處梁祝傳說遺存地，最后，認(rèn)定梁祝故事發(fā)生在祝英臺(tái)的故鄉(xiāng)上虞最符合邏輯，于是專程來虞考察。玉水河、井孔洞、藥師寺、祝氏祖堂……渡邊明次的興奮之情溢于言表。在祝氏祖堂前，他與陳秋強(qiáng)互贈(zèng)了梁祝研究資料。

不久，渡邊明次又一次踏上英臺(tái)之鄉(xiāng)的土地。他興奮地告訴陳秋強(qiáng)，自己的《梁祝故事三部曲》催生了一項(xiàng)新的文化活動(dòng)，原共同新聞社記者古野浩昭在看過他翻譯的小說《梁祝》后，決定把它改編成日語版話劇搬上舞臺(tái)。

兩年后，渡邊明次寄來邀請(qǐng)函，邀請(qǐng)陳秋強(qiáng)赴日本觀看《梁?！吩拕　?010年新春，又寄來日本版七幕話劇《梁祝》劇本、演出DVD等。他說：“我一直被上虞豐富的歷史文化積淀所打動(dòng)，我還會(huì)再次探訪上虞，將上虞這塊誕生過梁祝美好傳說的遺存地推介到日本?！?/p>

2018年4月，渡邊明次借著去江蘇宜興參加文化活動(dòng)之機(jī)，特地送來一幅書法條幅，上面寫著 ：“贈(zèng)送陳秋強(qiáng)先生，中日文化使者”，落款是日本梁祝文化研究所。

梁祝不僅僅是一個(gè)愛情故事，還蘊(yùn)含著深刻的中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化基因，兩位因梁祝而結(jié)緣的中日老人，以實(shí)際行動(dòng)澆灌著梁祝文化這朵美麗的奇葩，推動(dòng)著梁祝文化的傳承、交流和創(chuàng)新。而在這樣的傳承、交流和創(chuàng)新中，我們分明看到陳秋強(qiáng)這位文化使者的動(dòng)人剪影。

2020年，陳秋強(qiáng)被評(píng)為浙江省社會(huì)組織領(lǐng)軍人物；2021年，他又榮獲“最美浙江人· 最美鄉(xiāng)賢”稱號(hào)。作為鄉(xiāng)賢文化的擺渡人，陳秋強(qiáng)一直在路上。

Ferryman of the Xiangxian Culture

In Shangyu district, Shaoxing city, the local(which translates as “rural virtuous ones”, referring to those whose morality and talents are respected by local villagers) culture has become one of its “golden card”, attracting more than 100 units,groups and organizations from all over the country every year to learn from Shangyu’s experience.

Over the past 21 years, because of the hard work and unremitting efforts of Chen Qiuqiang, the Shangyu Xiangxian Association has brought its ruralculture out of China and into the world, building a bridge for Shangyu villagers at home and abroad, and encouraging more people of Shangyu origin living across the whole world to care about and give back to their hometown.

On November 7, 2020, the commemoration for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Xu Guangxian (1920-2015),academician of the Chinese Academy of Science and known as the“Father of China’s Rare Earths”, was held at his former residence in Tangpu township, Shangyu district. In the name of his hometown,Shangyu paid tribute to the great scientist and remembered the winner of the highest national science and technology award.

At the ceremony, Xu Fang, the daughter of Xu Guangxian,said emotionally that participating in the events celebrating her father’s centennial birthday in her father’s hometown is so meaningful. Not only did she felt a strong sense of homecoming,she was also impressed with the deepest respect of local folks for her father’s contribution.

It was in early 2020 that the Shangyu government planned to renovate Xu’s former residence and hold grand commemorative activities for the 100th anniversary of his birth. Therefore, officials asked Chen Qiuqiang to invite Xu’s descendants to participate in the activities and to make some legacy donations as well. Chen then reached out to Xu Fang, who agreed to help without hesitation. The events turned out to be quite a success, which has greatly enhanced the reputation of Shangyu and become a symbol of further innovation and development of the local ruralculture.

Before leaving Shangyu, Xu Fang, who had long settled in the US, wrote an affectionate message for the Shangyu Xiangxian Association: “My father told me about my hometown Shangyu,and I was so touched that I thought it was necessary for me to let my children know about this land, and one day to take them to return to this land of such rich cultural heritage.”

Although Chen Qiuqiang is not a young man any more, he is quite energetic. When talking about his interaction with Qian Xianglin, of Shangyu origin living in Thailand, he was extremely excited and simply could not stop talking.

In November 2017, Chen learned by chance that a very influential businessman in the Thailand — Qian Xianglin, the chairman of the Thailand General Chamber of Commerce of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, and also an overseas Chinese influencer in Thailand, is a Shangyu native. Chen immediately contacted relevant people there and found out that there were many others of Shangyu origin making a living in Thailand.Hence, “getting closer to Thailand-based Chinese of Shangyu origin” was born in his mind.

A week later, Chen brought to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, an interview group consisting of people from his association and local media. The next day, they interviewed Qian Xianglin at his home.

Qian has been in Thailand for more than 30 years, but his native accent has not changed, and he has a deep love for his country and hometown. It is with this love that he joined theThailand General Chamber of Commerce of Jiangsu and Zhejiang as the chairman, and took the lead in establishing the chamber in thefirst place. The chamber has extensive connections with Chinese governments at all levels, overseas Chinese offices and foreign economic offices, serving as bridges and platforms to promote the economic and trade development for Thailand and China.

Chen introduced the development and changes of Shangyu to Qian, which aroused Qian’s nostalgia for his hometown. When they parted, Qian wrote an inscription saying “My roots are in Shangyu”.

In June 2018, Qian led representatives of the chamber and came back to Shangyu. Later, Qian came back to his hometown once again and visited his relatives and neighbors at the ancestral home of the Qian family in Fenghui township, and when he heard that the Qian family was going to renew its genealogy, he immediately gave 50,000 yuan ($7,160) to fund the project. Today,Qian and his General Chamber of Commerce maintain a close relationship with Shangyu. He said, “If I have the opportunity, I will definitely do my best to contribute to the economic and social development of my hometown.”

On March 28, 2017, on the ancient stage of Zhujiazhuang village in Shangyu, the birthplace of the Liang-Zhu culture, there were actors playing an excerpt from the Japanese version of() with two local Yueju opera lovers. Despite the language barrier, the committed and professional Japanese actors dressed in ancient Chinese opera costumes put on a wonderful performance that won bursts of applause from audiences.

“This is the fourth time that I have come to Shangyu, the‘hometown of Yingtai’,” said Akitsugu Watanabe, a Japanese expert and scholar of the Liang-Zhu culture. This seventy-year-old artist was in Shangyu for the Liang-Zhu-themed cultural exchange activities with the scriptwriter of the Japanese version of, Hiroaki Furuno, and the actors.

Akitsugu Watanabe is known as thefirst person in Japan to look for the Liang-Zhu culture. His relationship with Shangyu began with Liang-Zhu, and his obsession with the culture of Liang-Zhu also led him to get to know Chen Qiuqiang, the national intangible heritage inheritor of the “Liang-Zhu legend”.The two later developed a close bond.

Moved by the melancholy and beautiful love story between Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, Watanabe embarked on a broadfield research, covering more than 10 provinces and 17 places in China where the legacy of the legend of Liang-Zhu still exerts some influence.

Soon, Watanabe set foot once again in Shangyu. He told Chen excitedly that his “Trilogy of Liang-Zhu Stories” had inspired a new cultural activity. After reading Watanabe’s translation of the novel on Liang-Zhu, a former Kyodo News reporter named Hiroaki Furuno had decided to adapt it into a Japanese play and bring it onto the stage.

Two years later, Watanabe sent a letter inviting Chen to Japan to watch the play. During the New Year holiday of 2010, Watanabe sent to Chen the script and DVD of the seven-act Japanese play. He said, “I have always been impressed by the rich historical and cultural treasure of Shangyu, and I will visit Shangyu again to introduce to Japan this place where the beautiful legend of Liang-Zhu was born.”

In April, 2018, Watanabe sent to Chen a calligraphy banner with the inscription “Presented to Mr. Chen Qiuqiang, cultural ambassador between China and Japan”, signed by the Japan Liang-Zhu Culture Research Institute.

In 2020, Chen was awarded as a leading figure of social organizations in Zhejiang; in 2021, he was awarded the title of“Most Beautiful Zhejiang People — Most Beautiful Villager”. As a ferryman of ruralculture, Chen has always been on the way.
