蘭貝特是英國(guó)現(xiàn)代舞國(guó)家舞蹈團(tuán)，位于倫敦南岸的這一新建筑將為該舞蹈團(tuán)提供落腳之地，供其訓(xùn)練、創(chuàng)建新作品并進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)大舞蹈覆蓋面。

三個(gè)大型舞蹈工作室共享更衣室、工作間和訓(xùn)練室以及管理空間，而舞蹈檔案館和閱覽室則對(duì)公眾開放。這一組合式設(shè)計(jì)滿足了對(duì)單層和雙層空間混搭的需求，并且使得兩個(gè)空間實(shí)現(xiàn)連通和視線相通。核心空間圍繞內(nèi)部庭院構(gòu)建，該內(nèi)部庭院在建筑生命上起到了社交中心的作用，同時(shí)可最大程度地利用自然光和通風(fēng)。

建筑混凝土結(jié)構(gòu)外立面不做修飾，兩個(gè)舞蹈工作室所在位置處，大型玻璃和鋁鍍層方形結(jié)構(gòu)向外突出并越過(guò)前立面的預(yù)制混凝土板材，清楚地向下方街道展現(xiàn)了其功能。

Rambert is the UK’s national company for contemporary dance and this new building on London’s South Bank provides a home for the company to hone its craft,create new productions and make dance more widely accessible.

Three large dance studios share changing,workshop and technical areas alongside space for administration,while a dance archive and reading room are open to the public.The sectional arrangement exploits the required mix of single and double-height spaces and allows permeability and views between them.Key spaces are grouped around an internal courtyard which acts as a social focus for the life of the building while also maximising natural light and ventilation.

The building’s concrete structure is exposed and two of the dance studios project beyond the precast concrete panels of the front facade as large glass and aluminium-clad boxes,clearly expressing their function to the street below.
