在日常生活中,當(dāng)別人做錯(cuò)了事或者沒(méi)有能夠做好某事的時(shí)候,我們可能會(huì)責(zé)備或者抱怨。而當(dāng)我們自己受到別人的責(zé)備或者抱怨時(shí),我們是不是也要學(xué)會(huì)表達(dá)歉意呢?請(qǐng)看本期話題Blame and Complaint。
一、表達(dá)blame and complaint的常用語(yǔ)
1. I’m sorry to bring this up, but... 抱歉提出這件事,但是……
2. I’m very impatient with... 我對(duì)……不耐煩了。
3. They shouldn’t have done it. 他們不應(yīng)該這樣做。
4. They are to blame. 他們應(yīng)該承擔(dān)責(zé)任。
5. Perhaps / Maybe they should / ought to... 可能他們應(yīng)……
6. Why don’t you do something about it? 你為什么不做點(diǎn)什么?
7. I’m afraid I have a complaint to make about the service. 我對(duì)你們的服務(wù)有意見(jiàn)。
8. I got very annoyed about it. 我對(duì)此事煩透了。
9. Can’t you do anything right? 成事不足,敗事有余。
10. I am sorry for the trouble I’ve given you. 對(duì)不起,給你添麻煩了。
11. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you. 對(duì)不起,我不是有意傷害你的。
12. You’re away too far. 你太過(guò)分了。
13. I’m not a bit satisfied with such a result. 我對(duì)這個(gè)處理結(jié)果不滿意。
二、對(duì)話演練:
A: Mark, can I have a word with you? I’m very impatient with Becky.
B: Why is that? I’ve always found her very easy to get on with.
A: Well, that’s not the problem. She’s a lovely person but whenever I ask her for something, she never seems to know where to look; it takes ages to find what I need. Now she seems to have lost a really important file that I gave her last week.
B: OK. I’ll have a quiet word with her—I know she’s been a bit overworked recently, but it sounds like she needs to sort herself out a bit.
A: Thanks, Mark, I appreciate it.
B: No problem.
三、把符合對(duì)話內(nèi)容的選項(xiàng)填入空白處。
A. Well, we’ll be happy to change it for you.
B. Would you like to choose a different colour?
C. so I’d like to change it for another one.
D. That sounds fine.
E. We’ll call you when it comes in.
A: Can I help you?
B: Yes, my daughter bought this camera here for my wife’s birthday. But it doesn’t work, _1_
A: I see. Let me have a look... _2_ but I’m afraid we don’t have another pink one.
B: Oh, what will I do then?
