我所執(zhí)教的是湖南少兒出版社六年級上冊英語Unit 8“We shouldn't waste water”第一課時。
We shouldn't waste water 這個單元的話題是環(huán)境保護(hù)(Environmental protection),我們要學(xué)會觀察周圍的環(huán)境,辨別周圍環(huán)境的美和丑,從而得出我們應(yīng)該做什么,不應(yīng)該做什么,應(yīng)該怎么做才能讓我們的環(huán)境變得更美。
一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1. 能聽懂、會說,認(rèn)讀新單詞和詞組keep the river clean plant more trees? keep the air clean and fresh use bikes instead of cars? shouldn't kill wild animals? shouldn't waste water? shouldn't litter.
2. 能運(yùn)用“We should... We shouldn't......”來討論保護(hù)環(huán)境我們應(yīng)該做什么不應(yīng)該做什么。
二、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)
1. 能運(yùn)用“We should...”和“We shouldn't”來表達(dá)自己應(yīng)該做什么、不應(yīng)該做什么。同時會用“You should...”和“You shouldn't...”告知他人應(yīng)該做什么、不應(yīng)該做什么來保護(hù)環(huán)境。
2. 對于詞組instead of,根據(jù)我以前的教學(xué)經(jīng)歷來看學(xué)生不容易掌握,要指導(dǎo)學(xué)生分音節(jié)記憶發(fā)音;Every drop of water也有點(diǎn)繞口,發(fā)音時教師也要多加指導(dǎo)。

Step 1 Warming up/Revision
1. Greetings.
T: Good morning boys and girls,? I'm glad to see you.
Ss: Glad to see you too.
2. Free talk:
What's the weather like?
Do you like going outing?
Where do you like to go ?
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1. Teacher: Today is sunny. I will take you to a good place for outing ,Can you guess what's the name of this place?
(1) 教師用課件依次呈現(xiàn)以下幾張風(fēng)景的照片,讓學(xué)生欣賞并說出圖片美不美,美在哪里。
(2) 學(xué)生看到圖片后議論紛紛并發(fā)表感嘆:How beautiful! It's LiuYe lake. I know this place, I want to go....
(3) 此時教師啟發(fā)學(xué)生說說柳葉湖美不美,美在什么地方。
(4) 學(xué)生各抒己見:
Student1: The sky is blue.
Student2: The trees are green.
Student3: The road is tidy.
Student4: The flowers are beautiful.
Student5: The water is clean.
Student6: The animals are lovely.
......
(5) 教師多媒體呈現(xiàn)另外一組柳葉湖環(huán)境沒有治理前環(huán)境被破壞的圖片,讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行比較并說一說這一組圖片美不美,為什么不美,哪些地方不美?
(6) 學(xué)生看到圖片紛紛搖頭嘆息:Oh! My God! It's terrible!...
(7) 此時老師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說說為什么搖頭?為什么嘆氣?
(8) 學(xué)生自告奮勇紛紛把自己的感受表達(dá)出來:
Student1:The sky is grey and black.
Student2: The wild animals are dead.
Student3: The water is dirty.
Student4: The air isn't? clean and fresh.
......
(9) 通過比較教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生得出結(jié)論:我們應(yīng)該保護(hù)環(huán)境We should protect environment.
2. 教師通過第二組圖片和學(xué)生一起討論保護(hù)環(huán)境我們應(yīng)該怎么做,不應(yīng)該做什么。同時板書并教學(xué)“We should...和We shouldn't....”
(1) The sky is grey and black(天空是灰色和黑色的)。教育學(xué)生盡量綠色出行。We should use bikes instead of cars. Instead of學(xué)生較難理解。Instead of 表示“代替”,教師可配合連貫的肢體語言進(jìn)行解釋并用不同的詞來替換組詞,如:用use hand instead of leg; use email instead of letter; use English instead of Chinese等來突破課文的重難點(diǎn)。
(2) 針對人類捕殺野生動物The wild animals are killed(野生動物被殺死)這一現(xiàn)象,老師教育學(xué)生要保護(hù)野生動物。 We shouldn't kill wild animals. We should love animals.
(3) 針對The water is dirty水源被污染這一現(xiàn)象老師告誡學(xué)生We shouldn't litter,We should keep the water clean。
(4) The air isn't clean and fresh 根據(jù)空氣不再干凈新鮮這一現(xiàn)象,我們應(yīng)該要多種樹保持空氣新鮮,We should plant more trees,Trees can keep the air clean。
3. 游戲:火眼金睛??焖匍W過一組圖片讓學(xué)生搶答,鞏固操練本單元重點(diǎn)詞組。

4. 多媒體呈現(xiàn)一些公共場所不同的標(biāo)識圖片,例如:禁止吸煙,禁止亂丟垃圾,禁止隨地吐痰等,讓學(xué)生用英語說一說這些標(biāo)識圖都代表應(yīng)該做什么和不應(yīng)該做什么。操練We should...和We shouldn't ...句型。
5. The dialogue
第一步:Watch and say
觀看動畫,說一說動畫中的小朋友正在干什么?
學(xué)生回答: She is washing her blouse.
第二歩:Recall and say
教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回想一下動畫中的情景,有沒有發(fā)現(xiàn)不美的畫面,學(xué)生回想之后回答:“水龍頭沒有關(guān)好” 。
第三步: Think and say
(1)教師啟發(fā)學(xué)生思考怎樣改變動畫中不美的地方.
學(xué)生紛紛發(fā)表自己的意見:
Student 1: turn off the water
Student 2: We should save water.
(2) 教師圍繞節(jié)約用水話題展開教學(xué)There isn't enough water on the Earth. We shouldn't waste water. We must save every drop do water.
(3) Every drop of 是本課知識難點(diǎn),教學(xué)時學(xué)生發(fā)音有點(diǎn)繞口,教學(xué)every 時教師用已學(xué)舊知very 逐步過渡,然后用every drop of rain; every drop of milk; every drop of water等反復(fù)操練來突破難點(diǎn)。
第四步:Read and circle
打開書本讀課文并圈出課文中有“We should,和We shouldn't..”的句子并且大聲讀出來。

Step 3 Practice
1. 小組之間展開討論,通過學(xué)習(xí)想一想我們應(yīng)該做什么,不應(yīng)該做什么來踐行環(huán)保,寫下來進(jìn)行小組匯報(bào)??茨膫€小組匯報(bào)得越多越詳細(xì)并評出優(yōu)勝小組。

教師:我們常德市目前正為環(huán)保節(jié)海報(bào)征集標(biāo)語和標(biāo)示圖,希望學(xué)生們觀察身邊的環(huán)境,找一找我們應(yīng)該要怎么做或者應(yīng)該怎么做才能讓我們的城市變得更漂亮,并且積極參與圖示的設(shè)計(jì)和標(biāo)語的創(chuàng)意,為我們的城市建設(shè)貢獻(xiàn)一份力量。
