面朝西湖,書(shū)香無(wú)邊。杭州市民和來(lái)杭州的游客發(fā)現(xiàn),西湖邊又多了一處“最美書(shū)店”——言幾又今日閱讀IN77店。人們?cè)诟浇挝骱?、看電影、逛商?chǎng),順道走進(jìn)書(shū)店,挑本書(shū),臨窗而坐,窗外的西湖山水“秒變”成最美的閱讀背景。如此美妙的閱讀體驗(yàn)引來(lái)不少網(wǎng)友點(diǎn)贊:“伴西湖四季,句句留香?!?/p>
杭州的實(shí)體書(shū)店正加速落地。不久前,杭州市文廣旅局提供的數(shù)據(jù)顯示:2018年,杭州新增實(shí)體書(shū)店319家,比2017年增長(zhǎng)28.6%,接近于每天新增一家實(shí)體書(shū)店,增速創(chuàng)歷史新高;全年圖書(shū)銷(xiāo)售總額18.68億元,人均年購(gòu)書(shū)額達(dá)234.47元。
而這樣的加速落地還在繼續(xù)。最新數(shù)據(jù)顯示,2019年1月1日至2月12日,杭州再增46家實(shí)體書(shū)店。至此,杭州全市實(shí)體書(shū)店總數(shù)達(dá)3157家,相當(dāng)于每3000人就擁有一家實(shí)體書(shū)店。
如今的紅紅火火,讓人不禁想到實(shí)體書(shū)店此前經(jīng)歷的那波寒潮。2012年,我國(guó)傳統(tǒng)圖書(shū)零售業(yè)銷(xiāo)售額首次出現(xiàn)負(fù)增長(zhǎng)。為扶持實(shí)體書(shū)店的發(fā)展,2013年,中央財(cái)政在包括杭州在內(nèi)的12個(gè)城市開(kāi)展實(shí)體書(shū)店扶持試點(diǎn)工作。如今,在國(guó)家和地方一系列政策的推動(dòng)下,實(shí)體書(shū)店再次迎來(lái)發(fā)展高潮。在這增長(zhǎng)趨勢(shì)中,實(shí)體書(shū)店的業(yè)態(tài)和格局正在發(fā)生怎樣的變化,又將為我省全民閱讀帶來(lái)哪些新氣象?
杭州正在迅速成為全國(guó)知名書(shū)店的集聚地。繼西西弗、言幾又、鐘書(shū)閣相繼落戶(hù)杭州后,獨(dú)立書(shū)店品牌“單向空間”也正式入駐杭州遠(yuǎn)洋樂(lè)堤港。
這是“單向空間”首次在北京以外開(kāi)出書(shū)店,是它在全國(guó)的第4家門(mén)店,也是長(zhǎng)三角地區(qū)首家旗艦店。
書(shū)店位于樂(lè)堤港三樓,總面積超過(guò)2000平方米,共3層。一樓為創(chuàng)造區(qū),主要推薦當(dāng)代優(yōu)秀青年創(chuàng)作群體的新書(shū);二樓為沉浸區(qū),分人文社科、藝術(shù)、生活等專(zhuān)題區(qū),同時(shí)在各個(gè)區(qū)域設(shè)計(jì)大小不等的座位,供讀者坐下來(lái)閱讀;三樓為參與區(qū),有親子書(shū)、二手書(shū)等,以分享交流為主。
“這是今年杭州新增書(shū)店里單體面積最大的一家?!焙贾菔形膹V旅局市場(chǎng)處負(fù)責(zé)人王衛(wèi)平說(shuō)。在為期半個(gè)月的預(yù)開(kāi)業(yè)期間,書(shū)店舉辦了16場(chǎng)閱讀分享會(huì)。就在開(kāi)業(yè)當(dāng)天,名為“第四屆單向空間書(shū)店文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)”的活動(dòng)同時(shí)舉行,吸引了戴錦華、陳冠中、許知遠(yuǎn)等學(xué)者參與。因報(bào)名太踴躍,書(shū)店還對(duì)活動(dòng)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)進(jìn)行了視頻直播。
開(kāi)在樂(lè)堤港的“單向空間”,從某種程度上反映了實(shí)體書(shū)店選址的新趨勢(shì)。在傳統(tǒng)的書(shū)店業(yè)人士看來(lái),街邊有人流量,校園里有目標(biāo)群體,是最佳的選址地。而在新一輪的開(kāi)店大潮中,實(shí)體書(shū)店開(kāi)始走向更細(xì)分的目標(biāo)群體。其中,對(duì)外地品牌書(shū)店而言,商業(yè)綜合體成為最多的選擇??梢钥吹降臓顩r是,近年來(lái)杭州新增的綜合體內(nèi)至少會(huì)引進(jìn)一家書(shū)店,國(guó)大城市廣場(chǎng)甚至開(kāi)出3家以圖書(shū)和圖書(shū)周邊產(chǎn)品為銷(xiāo)售主體的實(shí)體書(shū)店。
“實(shí)體書(shū)店,正在成為新零售時(shí)代的流量擔(dān)當(dāng)?!倍辔粫?shū)店負(fù)責(zé)人表達(dá)了同樣的觀點(diǎn)。以鐘書(shū)閣書(shū)店為例,在進(jìn)駐杭州的當(dāng)天,人流量超過(guò)2.3萬(wàn)人次,書(shū)店所在地杭州濱江星光大道更是成為游客來(lái)杭的打卡地之一。正是看中這種超強(qiáng)的導(dǎo)流能力,書(shū)店已成為城市商業(yè)綜合體的“標(biāo)配”。
相比較而言,本地書(shū)店更重視地方文化的營(yíng)造:曉風(fēng)書(shū)屋去年新增3家分店,分別開(kāi)在浙大一院、良渚博物院和寫(xiě)字樓里;鳳翮筑夢(mèng)書(shū)屋則布局社區(qū)店和校園店;純真年代書(shū)吧也在杭州楊柳郡社區(qū)開(kāi)出首家分店。
不僅如此,書(shū)店還開(kāi)進(jìn)了高速服務(wù)區(qū)。位于杭千高速建德服務(wù)區(qū)的新書(shū)店,由聯(lián)華華商集團(tuán)打造。據(jù)了解,聯(lián)華試水實(shí)體書(shū)店已不是第一次。早在前兩年,它就和浙江省新華書(shū)店集團(tuán)合作,在西湖文化廣場(chǎng)店內(nèi)開(kāi)設(shè)“書(shū)香世家”,增強(qiáng)零售體驗(yàn)。
值得關(guān)注的是,在新增書(shū)店中,出現(xiàn)了不少鄉(xiāng)村書(shū)店的身影。2019年元旦前夕,位于杭州蕭山區(qū)河上鎮(zhèn)的最美鄉(xiāng)村書(shū)店“綠野書(shū)舍”正式開(kāi)張。白墻黛瓦的空間里,靈動(dòng)柔光的照射下,數(shù)萬(wàn)冊(cè)新書(shū)靜立在錯(cuò)落有致的木質(zhì)書(shū)架中,十分溫馨。這樣溫潤(rùn)的鄉(xiāng)村書(shū)店正在各地開(kāi)花,桐廬大同鎮(zhèn)也剛開(kāi)出一家篤志書(shū)屋,受到當(dāng)?shù)刈x者歡迎。
文化消費(fèi)的快速介入,深刻改變著實(shí)體書(shū)店業(yè)的經(jīng)營(yíng)內(nèi)容。筆者走訪了3家新書(shū)店,看看書(shū)店里都有哪些新變化。
第一家是零點(diǎn)書(shū)房,去年1月開(kāi)業(yè),開(kāi)在蕭山市心橋旁邊,營(yíng)業(yè)至每晚24時(shí),由新華書(shū)店打造。書(shū)店里有很多科技元素,比如導(dǎo)購(gòu)機(jī)器人“小新”、自助購(gòu)書(shū)、智能圖書(shū)定位等服務(wù);店內(nèi)還有許多文化元素,有中國(guó)歷代著名書(shū)法作品展、諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)主題墻;書(shū)店里還有咖啡店,讓讀者享受“一個(gè)人,一杯咖啡,一本書(shū)”的靜謐生活。
第二家是曉風(fēng)鶴廬書(shū)齋,去年8月開(kāi)業(yè),開(kāi)在浙大一院住院部一樓。這也是曉風(fēng)書(shū)屋的第二家醫(yī)院書(shū)店。書(shū)店面積約100平方米,有兩萬(wàn)冊(cè)書(shū)籍,書(shū)的品種以傳統(tǒng)文學(xué)為主,契合醫(yī)院文化的“治愈系”屬性。書(shū)店還銷(xiāo)售近百種豐子愷文創(chuàng)產(chǎn)品,如書(shū)簽、茶具、帆布包等。
第三家是言幾又IN77店。這是“言幾又”過(guò)去一年在杭州新開(kāi)的第5家門(mén)店。在空間布局上,書(shū)店分為圖書(shū)區(qū)、童書(shū)區(qū)、文創(chuàng)區(qū)和休閑區(qū)。圖書(shū)區(qū)內(nèi),陳列著近3萬(wàn)種圖書(shū),其中四分之一為外文版和藝術(shù)設(shè)計(jì)類(lèi);文創(chuàng)區(qū)以日常生活用品為主,如玻璃器皿、絲巾、手作等,其中不乏本土品牌;休閑區(qū)位于書(shū)店臨西湖最好的位置,可供讀者坐下來(lái)交流分享。
從這三家書(shū)店的經(jīng)營(yíng)范圍來(lái)看,零點(diǎn)書(shū)房和“言幾又”引入休閑消費(fèi)區(qū),曉風(fēng)書(shū)屋引入圖書(shū)周邊產(chǎn)業(yè)。實(shí)體書(shū)店不再僅僅賣(mài)書(shū),“書(shū)+”正在成為民營(yíng)書(shū)店轉(zhuǎn)型的集體選擇。
這樣的跨界并非個(gè)例。一位書(shū)店經(jīng)營(yíng)者介紹說(shuō),他的書(shū)店去年圖書(shū)銷(xiāo)售與往年基本持平,咖啡休閑消費(fèi)增長(zhǎng)10%,文創(chuàng)產(chǎn)品銷(xiāo)售增長(zhǎng)40%。杭州市印刷發(fā)行協(xié)會(huì)負(fù)責(zé)人李大軍認(rèn)為,“這一趨勢(shì)得益于近年來(lái)中央鼓勵(lì)實(shí)體書(shū)店多元發(fā)展、復(fù)合經(jīng)營(yíng)的大背景”。
實(shí)體書(shū)店也在進(jìn)入高顏值時(shí)代。近年來(lái),無(wú)論是國(guó)有書(shū)店還是民營(yíng)書(shū)店,能夠成為網(wǎng)友眼中的“網(wǎng)紅書(shū)店”,最重要的因素就是空間設(shè)計(jì)。用李大軍的話說(shuō),高顏值是新開(kāi)書(shū)店最主要的特點(diǎn)。
比如言幾又IN77店,就是由日本設(shè)計(jì)師森下悠也操刀,以西湖為主題,整體布局成“西湖倒影”“西湖漣漪”“山脊線”三部分。
另一個(gè)值得注意的現(xiàn)象是,多種產(chǎn)業(yè)開(kāi)始進(jìn)軍書(shū)店業(yè)。去年11月底,獨(dú)角獸企業(yè)“媽媽去哪兒”聯(lián)合浙江省新華書(shū)店集團(tuán)在三墩開(kāi)出首家親子書(shū)店。在這里,既有尿不濕等嬰童用品,又有育兒書(shū)籍等文化用品,還有嬰童嬉戲、媽媽產(chǎn)后修復(fù)等多重區(qū)域。
事實(shí)上,除了零售業(yè),餐飲業(yè)、設(shè)計(jì)業(yè)、汽車(chē)銷(xiāo)售業(yè)等多個(gè)領(lǐng)域也紛紛進(jìn)入實(shí)體書(shū)店業(yè)。
實(shí)體書(shū)店的變化,不僅僅是引入新業(yè)態(tài),更在于主動(dòng)走出去,通過(guò)圖書(shū)業(yè)態(tài)為其他行業(yè)賦能,打造新型文化交流空間。浙江省新華書(shū)店集團(tuán)董事長(zhǎng)王忠義認(rèn)為,未來(lái)的書(shū)店,必定是以用戶(hù)為中心來(lái)研究新需求,以新技術(shù)為手段來(lái)提升服務(wù)力,真正實(shí)現(xiàn)把書(shū)店融入人們的美好生活中去。
當(dāng)筆者奔波在調(diào)研路上時(shí),微信朋友圈里又傳來(lái)一家新書(shū)店開(kāi)業(yè)的消息。杭州浣紗路上新開(kāi)了一家吾南書(shū)社,店主的“愛(ài)”就是將一整面墻的書(shū)架給了一套書(shū)——《浙江文叢》。這是浙江人文歷史的第一部百科全書(shū),僅一期體量就超過(guò)500冊(cè)、1.2億文字。
書(shū)店是“城市之光”,它以怎樣的方式存在于我們的日常生活中,必將潛移默化地影響一座城市的生活品質(zhì)和精神狀態(tài)。

More than Books:Love and Culture Shared in Bookstores

As most avid readers will tell you, encountering a good book can be one of the most rewarding experiences known to man. This is so true on the lakeshores of Hangzhou, where the joy of reading can be tasted by sitting beside the window facing the intoxicatingly beautiful lakescape. A newcomer of the citys lakeside bookstore “club” is Yan Ji You, set in the chic IN77 mall.
Hangzhou is justifiably a “reading city”, strewn with countless serene hideaways for book lovers. Wherever you turn, a bookstore is just around the corner. Statistics show 319 bookstores joined the city in the year 2018 and the year generated a total book sales revenue reaching 1.868 billion yuan. From January 1 to February 12, 2019, the city saw the opening of another 46 bookstores and the total number of physical bookstores reaching 3,157. It seems that this city has somehow been spared the widespread damage done to “brick-and-mortar” bookstores elsewhere by the outbreak of electronic books and online bookstores. The citys bustling bookstore scene is also the result of a governmental campaign launched by the central government in 2013 to boost bookstore investment in 12 cities across the country.
Following Sisyphus, Yan Ji You and Zhong Shu Ge, OWSPACE recently opened its first bookstore outside Beijing. The Hangzhou location, set in the Grand Canal Space, is also the brands fourth “child” in China and the flagship store in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Decked out on three floors, OWSPACE adds significantly to the citys reading atmosphere in the shape of a book-cum-lifestyle outlet. The bookstore presents not only a comprehensive selection of categorized books and periodicals shelved together, but lures one into a stimulating environment loaded with a whole range of lifestyle items and exquisite goods of a cultural nature. It also includes a special parents-and-children zone and a secondhand book zone set on the third floor.
The Hangzhou branch of OWSPACE is also the largest of the bookstores newly added to the citys bookstore list. Within only two weeks after its opening, it organized as many as 16 reading parties including the inaugural meeting attended by a group of cultural celebrities including Dai Jinhua and Xu Zhiyuan. The brand goes to great lengths to promote reading for people of all ages and walks of life by providing an attractive and stimulating learning environment.
The launch of OWSPACE also reveals a noticeable trend regarding the selection of location in Hangzhou. Shopping malls have become a reliable option – the opening of Zhong Shu Ge at the Star Avenue in the citys Binjiang District in 2016 caused a stir in the city, drawing in about 23,000 people on the opening day.
Xiaofeng Bookstore, having long been the citys de facto cultural rendezvous point, launched three new branches in 2018 to better fulfill its “community service” policy. The new location of Innocent Ages, at the Yangliujun residential neighborhood in Hangzhou, quickly became an integral part of the community, with residents taking full advantage of the opportunity to be whisked away into the fascinating world of books. Bookstores in Hangzhou even have their tentacles reaching expressway service areas – drivers on the Hangzhou-Qiandaohu Expressway can take a break at the bookstore located in the Jiande Service Station.
The launch of “the most beautiful country bookstore” at the tail-end of Chinese Lunar Year, 2018 brought a first-class collection of reading materials into Heshang Town in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou. Beautifully adapted to the old-fashioned atmosphere of the town, the bookstore lends a brilliant final touch to the overall historical magnificence of the town interlacing with an engaging, pastoral setting.
“Smart features” are adding a great deal to the appeal of bookstores, as can be seen at the “00:00 Bookstore”, opened a year ago in downtown Xiaoshan. Visitors are served by tech-powered facilities including the service from “Xiaoxin” – the bookstores shopping guide and the pleasant services of a lovely café corner.
The citys dizzying collection of fine bookstores sells more than books: it spreads the message that books and reading can bind lives as surely as any shared love and adds a cultural quality to the social fabric. Bookstores are one of the most prized possessions of Hangzhou - the Muse of the city; and the joy of reading is a tangible part of everyday life here.
“The future of bookstores will be geared toward the real needs of users; and the power of technology will be playing an increasingly important role in making bookstores a life necessity for all people,” remarks Wang Zhongyi, president of Zhejiang Xinhua Bookstore Group, the biggest bookstore chain in the province.
