Tsingshan Industry Becoming The Second Largest Nickel Metal Manufacturer In The World

Tsingshan Industry is a leading stainless steel enterprise in China and the whole world. Its sales revenue achieved RMB 226.5 billion in 2018, presenting a YOY growth of 40%; profit and tax achieved RMB 16.1 billion, presenting a YOY growth of 33%. Tsingshan Industry is the first enterprise from Wenzhou that achieved annual sales revenue of over RMB 200 billion. Tsingshan Industry persists in enlarging and improving high-quality capacity. In 2018, Tsingshan Industry manufactured crude stainless steel 9.29 million tons, presenting a YOY growth of 24%, retaining its top position in the world. It manufactured ferronickel 3.73 million tons, equivalent nickel metal 260000 tons, presenting a YOY growth of 17%, becoming the second largest nickel metal manufacturer in the world. It manufactured ferrochrome 280000 tons, achieving annual sales revenue RMB 226.5 billion, with a YOY growth of 40%; profit and tax achieved RMB 16.1 billion, presenting a YOY growth of 33%; total export-import volume achieved USD 4.2 billion, with a YOY growth of 14%. Tsingshan now has a total staff quantity of nearly 60000 people, including 30000 oversea employees.

Today, 304 austenitic differentiated stainless steel plate is applied to Midea rice cooker, ZWILLING pot and CIMC container and other high-end fields; high alloy steel enters high-end market like precision electronics, deep-pressing product and petrochemical engineering; steel wire rod is applied to filaments spring and so on. While Tsingshan Industry is maintaining advantages in stainless steel, it keeps marching towards new energy field to start a new business, with many projects planned and initiated. Ruipu Energy initiated in Longwan District last year is a good example of construction, going into operation and benefit realization in the same year.

In the meantime, Tsingshan Industry actively follows the initiative of OBOR and comprehensively implements the strategy of “going global”, riding on the crest of success. Projects in USA, Indonesia, India and Zimbabwe started in succession. The efficiency of construction and going into operation demonstrates to the world the swiftness of Tsingshan. In particular, the Tsingshan Park in Indonesia is the biggest stainless steel upstream and downstream industrial chain in the world. It also has the most comprehensive supporting projects in the world. Last year, Tsingshan Park in Indonesia achieved independent power generation of more than 9 billion KWh, crude production of 2.5 million tons, ferronickel 1.37 million tons and ferrochrome 200000 tons.
