進入21世紀(jì)之后,在悉尼密集的城市濱水環(huán)境中進行二次開發(fā)存在較大的難度?!癛9”住宅建筑位于布朗格魯綜合開發(fā)項目的西南角,柔化了悉尼濱水的傳統(tǒng)建筑與東部高層商業(yè)塔樓之間的視覺落差,激活了悉尼獨特的海港環(huán)境。

住宅的建筑首層完全服務(wù)于城市公眾人群,層高高達6m,沿濱水空間布置了大量的休閑餐飲設(shè)施, 4個臨Globe街的獨特門廳均通向濱水走廊。所有公寓的設(shè)計兼顧了私密場域的舒適感受,寬敞的陽臺將屋外濱水景觀收入眼底,最大程度地呈現(xiàn)悉尼情人港的迷人景色。

整個項目2/3的公寓單元都擁有新風(fēng)和太陽能系統(tǒng),使該建筑成為布朗格魯?shù)貐^(qū)現(xiàn)代主義和可持續(xù)建筑之一。所有居住單元的入口與面向城市道路的立面完全融合,建筑立面由一套可透水、可開合的百葉窗系統(tǒng)構(gòu)成,并且通過綠化種植裝置連接在一起。閉合時,可以滿足炎熱夏季的遮陽需求; 打開時,可以與城市景觀親密銜接。不同住戶、不同生活習(xí)慣、不同時間的開啟關(guān)閉,為城市街道增添了節(jié)奏韻律。

頂樓復(fù)式公寓擁有私人屋頂花園,而屋頂?shù)墓部臻g則向所有公寓業(yè)主開放。建筑與城市沒有明確的分界線,在濱水公共場所中創(chuàng)造出私人的生活空間?!?/p>

The Alexander (R9) building marks the southwest corner of the Barangaroo development. It celebrates Sydney's unique harbour-side settings and mediates between the traditional scale of the Sydney waterfront and the high-rise commercial towers to the east.

The building has an active lofty 6-metre-high ground floor with four distinctive apartment lobbies facing Barangaroo Avenue amongst retail and food outlets which orientate to the active promenade waterfront creating private living in a public place.

All apartments are designed to optimise the attractive views to Darling Harbour with living rooms opening to generous balconies. Two-thirds of the apartment units equipped with ventilation system and advanced solar energy systems, which makes 'R9' one of the modernist and sustainable buildings in the Barangaroo area. The entrances are merged in the facing road facade. The fa?ade of the building consists of a permeable operable shutter system, articulated by planting elements creating the counterpoint to the fa?ade.

The two storey rooftop apartments have private roof gardens while a communal roof provides amenity to all apartments. With two-thirds of the apartments cross ventilated and excellent solar accesses, the apartments will be an exemplar of sustainable design and will have an important role in creating architectural richness and diversity at Barangaroo.□

王楨棟:對于城市核心區(qū)的濱水社區(qū)而言,“家門口”的空間屬于誰?這個問題在澳洲和在中國有著截然不同的答案。在悉尼歷史悠久的布朗格魯,這組以居住和生活商業(yè)設(shè)施為主導(dǎo)、兼顧旅游觀光的混合開發(fā)項目,代表著悉尼濱水空間復(fù)合式的探索:如何密集的城市濱水環(huán)境中進行二次開發(fā),同時不失步行尺度的宜居性和舒適感。在開闊的水面和巨型尺度高層辦公樓之間,PTW事務(wù)所的設(shè)計實現(xiàn)了私家住宅與城市非盈利空間的真正連接,色彩明快的可開啟遮陽展示出澳洲生活的愜意節(jié)奏。如果第一次去這里散步,一定會被街道上其樂融融的生活氣息所打動。開放社區(qū),在這里從來都是進行時。

QING Feng: Versatile sun-shading systems incorporated into fa?ade design as a standard feature, is stemming from the design heritage of Le Corbusier. In many projects by PTW Architects, such an approach has been combined with other advanced, green technologies. This helps to portray a high-tech image for the firm, which takes its ecological responsibility seriously. Barangaroo Building R9 serves as a good example of such an approach to design. Whilst the upper residential system delivers a sense of lightness, efficiency and comfort, the ground-floor corridor running along the street provides people with a waterside rest area. Facing the Darling Harbour in such a manner is apparently much more successful than the skyscrapers behind. (Translated by Dandan Wang)

WANG Zhendong: Consider the residence of waterfront area in downtown, how close should the residence doorway connect to public urban life? The problem holds different answers between Australia and China. Barangaroo, one mixed-use development project, mainly featuring residential and commercial uses, represents Sydney's newest design expression for waterfront spaces. It is a secondary development in a densely populated urban waterfront environment without sacrificing walking spaces, livability and comfort. Between the expansive waters and the gigantic high-rise office building, the design of PTW Architects delivers a meaningful urban interface. The bright-colored and openable sunshade indicates the leisurely, relaxed and pleasant rhythm of Australian life. If you come here for a walk for the first time like me, you will be impressed by the pleasant and harmonious atmosphere of the street. Open communities are going on here.
