On May 9,a signing ceremony ofa comprehensive strategic cooperation framework agreement was held at Aluminum Corporation of China headquarters with Bayannur City,marking the formal establishment of a strategic partnership between the two parties.

Bayannaoer City of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,located at the Yellow River Economic Belt and the national comprehensive energy base-Hohhot-Baotou-Yinchuan-Yulin Economic Zone,is an important section of the Belt and Road.It shares a border line of 369 kilometers with Mongolia on the north.The Ganqimaodu Port in Bayannur is a National Class I Port and the most convenient channel to exploit the mineral resources in Mongolia.

Aluminum Corporation of China is a leader in China’s non-ferrous metals industry,and the only large-scale production and management company in the aluminum industry integrating the exploration and mining of bauxite and coal resources,production,sales,technology research and development,international trade,and logistics of alumina,primary aluminum and aluminum alloy products,as well as thermal power generation and new energy power generation.

Based on the outstanding advantages and broad spaceforcooperation between Aluminum Corporation of China and Bayannur City,both sides decided to strengthen mutual trust and cooperation,achieve complementary advantages,establish a comprehensive strategic partnership for the future,and promote mutual exchanges and cooperation in more areas.Both sides signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation framework agreement on the basis of voluntariness,equality,and honesty in the vision of mutual benefit,win-win,and harmonious development.

It is reported that taking the opportunity of contract signing,the two parties will work hard to establish a long-term,stable,mutually beneficial,and win-win comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership,and create an efficient and convenient regular meeting mechanism.By continuously improving the level of cooperation,they will jointly promote the reporting and construction of the China-Mongolia International Capacity Cooperation Zone Project,making it a flagship project for pragmatic cooperation with Mongolia under the B&R initiative.
