A long time ago, the Jade Emperor（玉皇大帝）decided to name each of the twelve years of the Chinese zodiac（生肖）__1__ an animal. He would choose only the wisest, bravest and most beautiful of __2__.

_3__ of the animals hoped they would be picked, especially the Rooster who had beautiful golden horns. The Dragon, however, wasn’t sure __4__ he would be picked because of his baldness（光禿）.
