雖然現(xiàn)在通訊發(fā)達,隨時都能聯(lián)系到他人,可是偶爾還是會遇到找不到人要委托別人傳話的情況。但又應(yīng)該怎樣請求別人幫忙捎信呢?

“Would you mind giving/sending him a message/a message to him?”是要求別人捎信時比較客氣的說法,動詞“mind”常用于疑問句、否定句及回答問話的肯定句中,表示“介意,反對”。

病人在訴說具體病情時,可說“I have a headache (stomachache, toothache, earache, sore back, sore throat, sore leg, sore eye).(我頭疼(胃疼、牙疼、耳朵疼、背疼、喉嚨疼、腿疼、眼睛疼)。)”。

分析▲“Excuse me.”通常有引起對方注意的含義,最常使用的場合為請人讓路或問路的時候。它與“I’m sorry.”雖同表“對不起。”,但在用法上仍有所差異?!癊xcuse me.”并不代表自己確實犯錯,而使用“I’m sorry.”時一般是自己確實犯了錯。相似的口語表達還有:1) Pardon me. 2) Sorry to interrupt you. 3) I hate to bother you.

分析▲我們在朋友家作客,或者是正與人暢談時,如若突然想起亟待處理的事情,則可說這句話。當(dāng)然,說的時候要注意語氣,不要冒犯到對方。常用的口語表達還有:
1) I’ve got to go now. 2) I’d better get going now.
