武漢國(guó)際博覽中心是湖北省、武漢市重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目，是武漢四新新區(qū)開發(fā)建設(shè)的“引爆點(diǎn)“。項(xiàng)目占地6253畝，總投資500億元人民幣，包括一期展館、二期國(guó)際會(huì)議中心、洲際酒店、海洋樂園、假日酒店，及超高層寫字樓、商業(yè)地產(chǎn)開發(fā)、景觀水系、生態(tài)居住區(qū)等，是以展覽、展示為主導(dǎo)功能，集會(huì)展、科技、文化、商務(wù)、休閑、旅游、居住于一體的多功能復(fù)合型的國(guó)際博覽城。

項(xiàng)目位于武漢市二環(huán)線上臨江地段，堪稱“長(zhǎng)江展廳”。長(zhǎng)江水岸線達(dá)2.7公里，占據(jù)武漢最大濱江地塊。區(qū)域內(nèi)規(guī)劃有“四縱五橫”的主要交通動(dòng)線，地鐵6和11號(hào)線從中穿越，交通便利，距中心城區(qū)15分鐘車程。

武漢國(guó)際博覽中心展館于2011年投入使用，展館室內(nèi)展覽面積為15萬平方米，室外為4萬平方米。作為國(guó)內(nèi)領(lǐng)先、國(guó)際一流的會(huì)展場(chǎng)館和華中地區(qū)最大的綜合性博覽城，可承接國(guó)際國(guó)內(nèi)大型展覽、會(huì)議和活動(dòng)。

Wuhan International Expo Center （WIEC）， an important project in Wuhan， is a tipping point in the development and construction of Wuhan New District. The project covers an area of 6253Mu with a total investment of 50billion RMB. WIEC consists of an Exhibition Hall in Phase I as well as International Convention Center， InterContinental Hotel， Ocean Park， Holiday Inn， Super Highrise office building， Commercial Real Estate， River Landscape and Residential Area in Phase 2. It provides as a multifunctional International Expo Zone for exhibitions and conventions and also other functions like business center， entertainment， tourism and living spaces.

WIEC is located at the 2nd ring road beside the Yangtze River. The project is called as Yangtze Exhibition Hall because it covers 2.7km shoreline of the Yangtze River which occupies the largest shoreline in Wuhan. Transportation here is convenient as there are four north-southern main roads and five west-eastern main roads as well as metro line6 and line11. It is only 15 minutes drive from the center city.

The venue of WIEC opened in 2011.The indoor exhibition area is 150.000 m2 and outdoor is 40.000 m2.WIEC is capable of holding the international and domestic largescale exhibitions，conferences and events.It is the largest comprehensive expo center in central China，leading domestic and world-class venue.
