We often think of future.We often wonder what the world would be like in a hundred years' time.

我們經(jīng)常想到未來。我們總是在思考一百年內(nèi)世界會(huì)是什么樣子的。

Think of space：Perhaps a permanent1station on the moon will have been set up.Perhaps people will be able to visit the moon as tourists.Cheap rockets for space travel will have been developed，permitting2long journeys throughout the solar3system.When that time comes，people will be asking holidays in space and visiting other planets.Great progress will have been discovered for the most terrible of all diseases—cancer.Pollution is a problem we must solve.In a hundred years'time it will have been controlled.

想想太空會(huì)怎樣：或許月球上已經(jīng)建立了一個(gè)永久的太空站?；蛟S人們能夠作為游客參觀月球。會(huì)有便宜的火箭被開發(fā)出來用作太空旅游，人們也能到達(dá)太陽系的深處去長(zhǎng)途旅行。當(dāng)那個(gè)時(shí)代到來，人們將到太空中度假，參觀其他星球。所有疾病中最可怕的癌癥的治療也會(huì)有更大的進(jìn)展。污染是我們必須要解決的一個(gè)問題。在一百年內(nèi)，污染也將會(huì)被控制。

All the world will have been developed—even Antarctica4.There will be large cities in Antarctica.We already have supersonic5flight，but in a hundred years'time we will have supersonic land travel as well.

世界上所有地方將得到發(fā)展，甚至南極洲。在南極洲將有許多大城市。我們也已經(jīng)擁有超音速飛機(jī)，但是在一百年內(nèi)我們也將有超音速的陸地旅行。

We will have used up most of earth's land to build our cities，so floating6cities will have been built.The Japanese already have plans for cities of this kind.And there will be cities under the sea.The first of these will have been completed.

我們建造城市將會(huì)用盡地球上大部分的土地，所以將會(huì)建造懸空城市。日本已經(jīng)有了這類城市的建造計(jì)劃。到時(shí)候也會(huì)有海底城市，這些城市中的首批將已經(jīng)完成。

Future Life
