“It is + adj.”是初中英語中出現(xiàn)頻率非常高的句型之一，現(xiàn)將常見的“It is + adj.”句型歸納如下。

一、It is + adj. + that + 從句

此句型常用來說明對(duì)某事的感受，其中it是形式主語，that引導(dǎo)的從句才是真正的主語，通常放在句尾。適用于此句型的形容詞有：necessary， clear， true， strange， certain， likely， meaningful， important， possible， lucky等。如：

It is necessary that we help those disabled people.

我們幫助那些殘疾人是必須的。

Its very clear that they badly need help.

很明顯，他們非常需要幫助。

It is very meaningful that they donate some money to Project Hope.

二、It is + adj. + to do sth.

此句型常用來描述行為動(dòng)作和情境。如：

It is difficult to finish the work today.

今天完成這項(xiàng)工作很困難。

It is not easy to learn a foreign language well.

學(xué)好一門外語不容易。

It is interesting to play with snow in winter.

冬季玩雪很有趣。

1. 在此句型中，動(dòng)詞不定式to do sth.也可直接放在句首作主語，但在現(xiàn)代英語中，這樣用的不多。如：

To give is much better than to receive. = It is better to give than to receive.

It is quite difficult for them to find out who broke the window.

【注意】

此句型有時(shí)也可與“It is + adj. + that + 從句”句型互換使用。如：

四、It is + adj. + of sb. + to do sth.

此句型常用來表示人的內(nèi)在品質(zhì)。適用于此句型的形容詞有：kind， nice， clever， polite， careless， generous， good， thoughtful， silly等。如：

It is very kind of you to help me with my English.

你能幫助我學(xué)英語真是太好了。

It was silly of us to believe him.

我們真是太愚蠢了，竟然相信他。
