This is our friend Zhang Peng.He has a pen pal John.They often send e-mails to each other.Today Zhang Peng sends an e-mail to John.It’s about his day.

2.Listen and circle the time in the e-mail.(聽文本，圈出郵件中的時(shí)間)

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：將本課六個(gè)新授詞匯巧妙串連，編成了一篇關(guān)于 Zhang Peng’s Day 的郵件，創(chuàng)設(shè)情境，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生帶著任務(wù)初步感知文本。

3.利用課件新授詞匯：breakfast,lunch,dinner

（1）學(xué)習(xí) breakfast

出示7:00的鐘表并放大，其他的鐘表消失。

T:Look!What time is it?

Ss:It’s 7:00.

T:It’s time for_______.

Ss：It’s time for breakfast.

教師領(lǐng)讀學(xué)習(xí)新詞匯breakfast。

T：Look atthe picture.What does Zhang Peng like for breakfast?

Ss：He likes bread and eggs for breakfast.

T: What about you?Look! We have Chinese breakfast and Western breakfast.What do you like for breakfast?

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：詞匯教學(xué)中時(shí)刻做到“詞不離句，句不離篇，篇不離用”，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生將語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)與生活緊密結(jié)合，并且適時(shí)地進(jìn)行德育和中西方文化的滲透。

（2）學(xué)習(xí)lunch

出示12:00的鐘表并放大，其他的鐘表消失。

T:Look!What time is it?

Ss:It’s 12:00.

T:It’s time for_______.

Ss：It’s time for lunch.

（3）學(xué)習(xí)dinner

4.Let’s chant.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：在語(yǔ)言的操練難度上做到層層遞進(jìn)，由扶到放。Chant的合理運(yùn)用，既是對(duì)知識(shí)的小結(jié)，又能讓學(xué)生在韻律的說(shuō)唱中快樂(lè)學(xué)習(xí)。大量合理的語(yǔ)言輸入，初步培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：學(xué)生通過(guò)精讀文本，提高了閱讀能力和閱讀技巧。連線活動(dòng)的設(shè)計(jì)有利于語(yǔ)言知識(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)的整合，進(jìn)一步培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力，為語(yǔ)言的有效輸出做了充分的準(zhǔn)備。

Step 3.Extension

1.Watch a video about Peter’s day.

T:We know Zhang Peng’s Day.What about John’s day？He sends Zhang Peng a short video.Let’s watch carefully.

（視頻中拓展了新的語(yǔ)言知識(shí)，如：time for work,time for literacy,time for art class,time for science...）

2.Group work:Talk about John’s day in your groups.

T：Look! It’s John’s timetable.Talk about one of his day in your groups.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：創(chuàng)設(shè)Peter回復(fù)Zhang Peng郵件的情境，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生欣賞西方學(xué)生日常學(xué)習(xí)、生活的視頻，感受中西方文化的差異。然后小組討論John’s day,通過(guò)小組合作，將本課語(yǔ)言知識(shí)融會(huì)貫通，學(xué)以致用，最終達(dá)到培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力的目的。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過(guò)聽、說(shuō)、讀、寫四條途徑來(lái)提高學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)能力，體現(xiàn)教學(xué)的層次性。考慮到四年級(jí)學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)狀況，利用補(bǔ)充填空的形式寫一寫自己的一天，既鞏固本課的教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)，又初步培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生的寫作能力。
