Passage 1
If you’re thinking of traveling or studying abroad,learning a new language is necessary. Actually speaking a foreign language fluently takes a lot of hard work and practice._1_
Have a word of the day.
New words are always a problem in learning a language. Having a word of the day can help build your vocabulary. You can do this in one of two ways._2_Or,two,you can wait for new words to come up naturally in conversation,and then try to use the new word several times.
Speak the language as much as you can (especially with native speakers).
_3_You’ll learn a lot more in a 5-minute conversation with a native Spanish speaker than you will from another English speaker who’s had 2 years of college Spanish. Try to spend 80% of your time speaking with those who speak the language better than you.
Listen to foreign language radio or TV,even as background noise.
Part of learning to speak a foreign language properly is learning the intonations and rhythms of the words. Listen to the language as much as possible. Try to hear how they’re pronounced in different contexts,and what the different intonations are._4_
Look up words you don’t know in a monolingual dictionary.
Figuring out the meaning of words can be challenging in a foreign language,since direct and accurate translations don’t always exist. While getting the word for physical objects,like desk,might be straightforward,translating concepts can be a lot harder._5_
A. By looking words up in a monolingual dictionary,you can make sure that the word or phrase you choose actually means what you think it does.

Here’s the thing: Many of us waste our energy on things that aren’t really positively serving us. We worry about whether someone will like us or not. We go on a first date with this underlying fear of “Will I be rejected?”
The trouble is that when we do these things,we allow all these things to suck away our energy,which prevents us from truly standing in our own unique power. It’s not very attractive. ___2
So what can we do to truly love and have more confidence in ourselves?

Go out and exercise. Eat healthy. Take the time periodically check-in with your body. If you feel exhausted,then take the time to rest. If you feel energized then make sure you get out there and channel that energy into some great work!

Even though we can’t always control avoiding the things that we hate to do,we can find time to do the things that we love to do! If you’ve always wanted to learn how to paint,then start painting. If you love dancing,then go out dancing!
3. Believe in you.
Believe that you are capable of really having what your heart desires_._5_Know that you are good enough...you are worthy!

4 Ways Your Life Changes with Just One Week of Exercise
The human body has an incredible capacity to experience something new and immediately begin adapting to it on day one._1_In just one week of exercise ,each body will experience change. Here are four you’ll definitely start to notice in the first week.

But that’s a good thing! Working out means ultra tiny damage is being done to the muscles,which causes the pain and inflammation associated with being sore._2_The soreness should only last a day or two,and you can witness in real time your body getting stronger!

A solid workout increases blood flow and the amount of oxygen getting to the brain. This means your brain is actually able to perform better,making you more alert,focused and able to think at peak performance. The increased blood flow from exercise helps the body get rid of waste products like free radicals,resulting in a healthy post-workout glow._4_

Before the start of the day,make a list of tasks that need your immediate attention as unimportant tasks can consume much of your precious time. Some tasks need to be completed on that day only while other unimportant tasks could be carried forward to next day._1_

Delay is one of the things that badly affect the productivity. It can result is wasting essential time and energy. It should be avoided at all costs. It could be a major problem in both your career and your personal life.
Start Early
_3_They start their day early as it gives them time to sit,think,and plan their day. When you get up early,you are more calm,creative,and clear-headed. As the day progresses,your energy levels starts going down which affects your productivity and you don’t perform as well.

Stress often occurs when we accept more work than our ability. The result is that our body starts feeling tired which can affect our productivity. Instead,delegate tasks to your juniors and make sure to leave some time for relaxation.
Set up Deadlines
When you have a task at hand,set a realistic deadline and stick to it._5_Challenge yourself and meet the deadline. Reward yourself for meeting a difficult challenge.
