Born in Changtu county， Liaoning province in 1957， Wang Xiangyi was fond of arts since an early age and has devoted himself to the fine arts for 35 years. Now he is a member of Jilin Arts and Crafts Association， member of Jilin Aesthetics Society and member of Yanbian Artists Association etc. He has participated in various exhibitions and won grand prizes. Since 2009， he has dedicated to artistic innovation and integrated the features of traditional paintings and oil paintings， forming his own style.

王祥屹，藝名彩米，1957年出生于遼寧省昌圖縣，自幼酷愛美術(shù)，從事美術(shù)專業(yè)工作35年。中國書畫函授大學(xué)畢業(yè)，以工筆人物為主，曾拜書畫藝術(shù)家田成義門下，后又參加?xùn)|北師大高級研修班進(jìn)修。現(xiàn)為中國長白山美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員，中國刀畫協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員，吉林省工藝美術(shù)優(yōu)秀人才，吉林省工藝美術(shù)協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員，吉林省美學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)員，吉林省刀畫研究會(huì)研究員，延邊美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員，延邊工藝美術(shù)協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員。

1985年創(chuàng)作的《龍虎鎮(zhèn)邊陲》榮獲東北三省美展創(chuàng)作獎(jiǎng)、延邊州美展創(chuàng)作獎(jiǎng)，并入選延邊州慶50周年藝術(shù)大典。1987年3月受長春電影制片廠邀請，為影片《關(guān)東大俠》繪制道具，受到一致好評。 1988年創(chuàng)作的《十五的月亮》工筆人物，獲延邊州美展二等獎(jiǎng)。2013年新派刀筆油畫《圣母瑪利亞》在市州美展中獲大獎(jiǎng)。 2014年有六幅作品被選入《中國當(dāng)代民間工藝名家名作選粹》。 2013年，《習(xí)主席畫像》、《花好月圓》、《圣母瑪利亞》參加吉林省工藝美術(shù)大師精品展，并有一幅作品被選入《中國工藝美術(shù)精品集吉林卷》。自2009年至今致力于藝術(shù)創(chuàng)新，現(xiàn)已將國畫工筆與刀筆油畫的特點(diǎn)融為一體，形成了獨(dú)特風(fēng)格。
