“讀萬卷書,行萬里路”,旅行可以開拓我們的視野,讓我們體驗到不同的文化,擁有不同的心境。但是如果有一天,你因為種種原因無法出去旅行,請不要沮喪,因為你可以讓這種不旅行成為一種最美的旅行。

For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege2. privilege: 特權(quán)。of travelling to various countries in Asia, speci fically Indonesia and China. My desire to travel, in fact, makes me incredibly impulsive.11. incredibly: 不可思議地;impulsive: 沖動的。One day, I was watching my old friend Andrew Zimmern travel to Cambodia. Additionally, I am pleased to say I have found a job this summer. I work at the Seneca Hill Animal Hospital and Resort where I look after dogs whose owners have left for summer vacation. The work may be hard, but at least I’m compensated22. compensate: 給予報酬。.
All in all23. all in all: 總之。, life at home so far has not been all that dif ficult. I’m spending time with old friends, and earning for myself, two things that could not be done outside the U.S.24. 我和老朋友一起玩,我開始自己賺錢,這兩件事情是離開美國去旅行時無法去做的。Although I would have wanted to spend the summer in a magical land with foreign foods, languages, and people, I have to realize that life is what you make of25. make of: 理解,看待。it.
