I find it very spiritual and calming. Of course we have no trouble with any neighbours. We can be as loud as we like. My husband is a musician. We like our music on loud in the mornings, so nobody complains, and thats how we like it.
So this is our kitchen. Now originally this was a Victorian park toilets, so before we could make the kitchen, we had to take it all out. But we wanted something quite bright and light and modern and 1)spacious. This is a brilliant space. Weve had loads of parties and have lights and smoke machines. Weve had 2)DJs.
Some may say its a little disrespectful to the dead, but I like to think more that were just bringing a little bit more life back to the cemetery. Its our dining room. Its a little 3)spooky because I think probably where we eat is exactly where the bodies would have lain. So through here we have the chapel. This was the 4)pièce de résistance, this is the “wow” factor. I think the very fact that its got massive 5)cobwebs that you cant even reach, and the stone and the fire, it makes a fabulous room.
This is the room, when were sat watching television that people 6)peer in, thinking theres nobody here, and then we all jump out of our seats and try and make them as uncomfortable and frightened as we can.
