As Chinese New Chairman Xi Jinping’s wife,China’s new First Lady,one of the country’s most famous folk singers and a World Health OrganizationGoodwill Ambassador(親善大使),Peng Liyuan has long been well known.

作為中國新任主席習(xí)近平的妻子，中國新任的“第一夫人”，彭麗媛既是中國著名的民歌歌唱家，也是世界衛(wèi)生組織的親善大使，長期以來她在中國家喻戶曉。

Different from herpredecessors(前任),she has become a fashion symbol around the world on her first official state visit with her husband when she wore as atrendy(時髦人物).

與前幾任第一夫人大相徑庭，她隨丈夫的首次正式國事訪問期間，以時尚形象出現(xiàn),已經(jīng)成為了世界的時尚象征。

People guessed that Peng would remain aslow-key(低調(diào))as her predecessors— after all,she had chosen to avoidlarge-scale performances(大型演出)and people’s attention in recent years.Yet Peng was covered extensively by China Central Television（CCTV）and received a full-page spread in the Beijing News when she visited Moscow with Xi.

人們曾猜測彭麗媛應(yīng)該會保持像她的前幾任那樣一貫的低調(diào)——畢竟近年來她已經(jīng)避開了一些大型演出，以免太為引人關(guān)注。然而她還是被中央電視臺大規(guī)模報道，并且她與習(xí)近平一同出訪莫斯科的新聞在《北京新聞》占據(jù)了一整個版面。

Peng’s life story was a classicinspirational(鼓舞人心的)tale.She joined thePeople’s Liberation Army(人民解放軍)at 18 and had already been the top folk singer when she first met Xi in the south-eastern province of Fujian in 1986.She is best known for her 24 years as a singer atthe annual spring festival gala(春節(jié)聯(lián)歡晚會).

彭麗媛的人生是一部經(jīng)典的勵志劇。彭麗媛18歲就加入了人民解放軍，1986年第一次在福建遇到習(xí)近平的時候，她已經(jīng)是國內(nèi)頂尖的民族歌唱家。她廣受人民群眾的喜愛，參演了24年的春節(jié)聯(lián)歡晚會。

When she got off from her private plane in the first official visit to Moscow,Peng,chose anelegant(優(yōu)雅的)black coat andladylike handbag(女士提包)by Chinese fashion label“Exception”,teamed with(搭配；合作)her fresh-faced make-up andunderstated(低調(diào)的)accessories(首飾).Images of Peng stepping off a plane arm-in-arm with her husband,President Xi Jinping,have spread widely on the Internet.Her styleis termed(被稱作)by Internet fans as the“Liyuan style”.

在飛機抵達(dá)外訪的第一站莫斯科時，彭麗媛身著一件優(yōu)雅的黑色外套，手上提著的是中國時尚品牌“例外”生產(chǎn)的女士提包,搭配清新妝容以及低調(diào)樸素的首飾。她與丈夫國家主席習(xí)近平手挽手走下飛機的圖片在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上廣為流傳，網(wǎng)上的粉絲們稱她的著裝風(fēng)格為“麗媛style”。

The People’s Liberation Army singer is often compared to Carla Bruni Sarkozy,Michelle Obama,and even Kate Middleton.She is acharismatic(有魅力的)performer,trendsetter and dash of colour in the political world.

這位人民解放軍歌唱家現(xiàn)在經(jīng)常被拿來與布魯尼（法國前總統(tǒng)薩科齊的夫人）、米歇爾·奧巴馬（美國總統(tǒng)奧巴馬的夫人），甚至是凱特王妃（英國威廉王子的王妃）相比較，她是一個魅力超凡的演唱家，潮流引領(lǐng)者，也是政治世界中的一抹鮮明的亮色。

Renmin University journalism professor Zhong Xin believes there are high expectations that Peng will help her husbandconvey(表達(dá);傳輸)a friendly image of China.

中國人民大學(xué)新聞學(xué)院教授鐘欣認(rèn)為，人們對彭麗媛可以幫助習(xí)近平主席傳遞友好中國的形象有著很高的期望。

“Mrs.Peng is beautiful and popular and because this is the first time she will beunveiled(公開的)in her new public role,she will have a good influence,”she said,explaining that the new First Lady will not only show a positive image of herself,but the president and theentire(整個)country.Peng is expected toengage in(參加)some public activities with other first ladies.

她說：“彭麗媛女士非常漂亮，非常受歡迎，這次她第一次以新的公眾角色出現(xiàn)在人們面前，會展現(xiàn)非常好的影響力。”她認(rèn)為這位中國新任第一夫人不僅會展示自己的正面形象，也會對主席和整個中國的形象起到非常積極的作用。據(jù)悉彭麗媛還將其他國家的第一夫人們一起參與到公共活動中來。
