A Kind and Brave Dog

Two years ago， my father bought a newly-born dog for me. I got excited and took good care of him every day. At first he was afraid of me. Little by little， I developed friendship with him.

My little dog was very kind. One day last winter， I was ill in bed. He stayed with me all day. Several days later， I got well and he seemed very happy and stood up to kiss me on the face.

As time passed by， my little dog grew up and became very brave. One morning， I was walking on the street when suddenly someone shouted， “Look out. The horse is frightened.” I saw a frightened horse coming quickly along the street. Everyone moved to the sides of the street at once. At the same time I noticed there were two chickens looking for food on the street. They didn’t know what was happening. Nobody knew what to do. Just then， my brave dog rushed up at full speed. He barked towards the two chickens. They were so scared that they ran away quickly. The two chickens were saved. Yet the frightened horse rushed over and kicked my dog on the head. And he died. I took him in my arms， and couldn’t help crying.

My brave dog lost his young life but saved two chickens. His death is valuable!

一只體貼而勇敢的狗

兩年前，我的爸爸給我買了一只剛出生的小狗。我非常興奮，每天都精心地照顧他。一開始，他很怕我，但是慢慢地，我和他之間建立起了友誼。

我的小狗很體貼。去年冬天的一天，我臥病在床，他就整天陪著我。幾天后我的病好了，他似乎非常高興，站起來親我的臉。

隨著時間的推移，我的小狗長大了，變得勇敢了。一天早上，我正在路上走著，這時突然有人大喊道：“小心！這匹馬受驚了?！蔽铱匆娨黄ナ荏@的馬正沿著街道快速地奔過來。每個人都馬上退到路邊。同時，我還注意到路上有兩只雞正在找食物，它們并沒有發(fā)覺發(fā)生了什么事。沒有人知道該怎么辦。這時，我那只勇敢的狗全速沖過去，對著那兩只雞狂吠。它們受到驚嚇，馬上跑開了。它們獲救了，然而，那匹受驚的馬快速地沖過來，踢到了狗的腦袋，狗就死了。我把他抱在手上，情不自禁地哭了。

我那只勇敢的狗為了救兩只雞而死，他的死是有價值的！
