Last summer， I went to Beijing. I visited many tourist attractions， such as the Great Wall， the Palace Museum， Tian’anmen Square and the Summer Palace. But you know what was the most exciting thing？ Seeing the national flag going up in Tian’anmen Square！ Thousands of people were there， and we were so proud of our country. Last summer， my parents and I took a trip to Huaguo Mountain in Lianyungang. It’s known for its monkeys. There were a lot of trees and flowers. The birds sang happily and the wind blew gently.
